I've not really started on the manga, but from what I understand, Shizuka's backstory is, by FAR, not the saddest or most tumultuous story.

Still, I couldn't tell ya why there are so many moments with Shizuka in this episode when I tear up. Perhaps seeing a tiny girl seem to try so hard to get by in a world of big, loud people gets me empathetic? Idk, but this was the most emotional episode for me. 24:00 Well. I have been thoroughly reminded why I get so moved this episode. I've watched this like 10 times, and still....

2024-07-04 22:22:17 +0000 UTC1:28 Concerning Hikari and Karane's relationship, if you look for the WHOLESOME fanart, you'd see sucj furious, passionate, endearing love for the series and those two "rivals." This whole series is actually one of the most wholesome things I've ever seen, which is so ridiculous, considering the premise!
