Poll Results + Progress

Alright Polls are done with, so let's get the results out of the way first, before a brief progress update.

Haven's Port Focus Poll

This one was heavily in favor of the Rose Garden being the sole focus on the build this time. That option took the victory with 72% of the vote. Given the whole attending-a-funeral-thing forcing me to shrink the build a bit, that's honestly for the best. It will allow the Rose Garden to get a solid start despite the slightly-smaller-than-normal build. 

Mixed Media Poll

I'm not overly surprised by the result here. Silas Station won again, though a MMS update for Cyberworld did actually give it a solid run for it's money. Regardless, Silas Station won 57% to 43%. So we'll be getting Part 5 of Silas Station:Consequences!

Short Story Poll

So, as always, this is the most complicated because of the vote weighting. Even with my screw up about multiple-story voting, votes are still weighted, so...:

There's the results after vote-weighting. I admit, I was genuinely surprised to see The Long Haul coming out on top! Not displeased, by any means. The next entry of that story series should actually be pretty easy to write. Just surprised, as it's rarely near the top of the poll! Not to mention that it successfully unseated Alyia and the Magic Shop, which has had a solid run of popularity recently. 

Regardless, The Long Haul did win. So it will be the poll-short story that I update this month.

-----------------------------Progress Reports------------------------

Haven's Port:

This is currently going just about as well as can be hoped. I have the renders for four scenes completed, with a fifth in progress. I expect to finish the fifth tonight, though I expect to get slowed down a bit on the sixth, since it will require rendering at least one image in the theater again. After that, I'll be done with the theater set of scenes for this build and onto one of the other new areas. How that will go, as always, tends to depend on how well constructed the assets I acquire are. Well made assets result in quick renders, poorly made assets in slow ones, and frustratingly there's no way to tell the difference before buying them and testing them out -_-. 

Short Story:

I've actually got the writing done for the first short story. I'll be giving it an editing pass and posting it...technically sometime later today, since it's past midnight now. It's an experimental one-shot, rather than a continuation of any other stories, I'm afraid. I needed something I could sink my teeth into easily, which generally means something new. 

The other short, the poll-voted-one, obviously has been started yet. I'll try to get going with in within the next day or too. Ideally, I'd like it to get done quickly so I can knock the short-story reward out entirely before I have to leave town.

Obviously, the poll only just finished. I'll get a start on renders for it later today.

Wallpapers

Surprisingly, these are actually done. As in done done. As in I already did the typesetting and could upload them right now, done. Since I'm posting this now and will be posting the first short later today, I'll probably way only the 13th or 14th to post them, though. Just to prevent them from getting lost in the shuffle of other posts.
