CEO Skin Tone Poll
Added 2021-09-07 23:42:44 +0000 UTCAlright! This is by far the less important of the two polls going up today. Though, since I want as much feedback as possible, it's also the one that is public! It regards the following image(Sorry, Patreon is stupid, I can't add images to a poll post):
CEO Character Samples
This wasn't one of the originally planned polls. Instead, it sprung out of my own inability to select between several options regarding the CEO character for Left Hand Magic. From the start, I wanted to make her a tiefling. It took a LOT of work to combined various assets to make that work, since there wasn't an existing model for a tiefling character. And, frankly, I'm largely happy with the result. What I couldn't ultimately decide on was fairly simple but fundamental...skin tone! I had six skin shades originally, which I managed to slim down to three by asking a few friends to pick between various versions of the core color tones. Buuuuutttt...nobody could agree which of the final three was the best!
At that point, I figured 'to heck with this,' I'll mak...errr allow. Yes, allow, that sounds much better....
*cough*
That I would allow my wonderful, amazing patrons and fans to pick between the remaining three options! Now, some quick clarifying points! The following things are locked down for good.
1) Outfit. I may add some jewelry to her, but the outfit you see will be her primary outfit in the game.
2) General Body/Face Shaping. This is already sorted out.
3) Horns. Seriously, this was the hardest thing to find a set that didn't look horrible to me. Not changing them. Note, they will be BLACK, however, in one of samples (Blue Skin) I forgot to blacken them properly. That will be fixed if the blue skin is chosen.
However, this next list are two things that are NOT certain.
1) Skin Tone (Duh, that's what the poll is about)
2) Hair. All of the hairs looks good...but one of the other Major Characters had purple-blue hair and I like her design too much to change. As such, there's a chance I may shift this, but only a chance. And I might use any of these hair options mixed with the winning skin tone. Feel free to voice your opinion on the hair, but it may change before final lock down of her image.

As I said in the post, I probably will change the hair color. I'm not so sure about the darker color, though, as it actually makes her horns almost vanish from a lot of angles. I can't quite see the orange-golden, either...but the mint-green-cyan might actually be a very good combination, I'll have to try it. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm also considering a pink, probably a darker pink. And there are others I can experiment with as well...

2021-09-09 04:56:33 +0000 UTCI like purple the most, however i think that the purple hair doesn‘t fit it, since it lacks contrast. I think the black hair of the blue one with purple skin color would look super. Also, orange-golden or mint-green-cyan hair would make an eye catching contrast with purple.
