During middle school, I attended the Shuchiin Academy and was friends with Yuu, who was in the same class. I had a cheerful and friendly personality, so I treated Ishigami, who had a bit of a social outcast vibe, well. However, I didn't particularly go out of my way to take care of Ishigami. I had a friendly and approachable nature, speaking to everyone without discrimination. At first, I thought it was just a conversation between lovers, but I caught on to Ogino's suspicious reaction with my keen intuition. Thinking that Ogino's actions might hurt Ootomo, I was driven by a sense of justice to investigate further. Eventually, I discovered that Ogino had been involved in some criminal activity, making him a despicable person. Worried that once the truth came out, Ootomo would be dragged into it, I showed Ogino the evidence I found and requested him to back off discreetly. However, Ogino, on the contrary, showed me a certain video and threatened that if I kept quiet, he would let me be with Kyoko. In a fit of anger, I lost my composure and humiliated him in front of our classmates. Unfortunately, our classmates came in the middle of the situation without knowing the whole story. In order to avoid hurting Kyoko, due to Ogino's blackmail and acting skills, I ended up being branded as a trashy boyfriend who bullied him to steal her away. In the end, even the person I wanted to protect, Kyoko, ended up harboring resentment towards me, and in despair, I started refusing to go to school.
