What To Expect: September 2021

Hi everyone! 

So, I'm sure some of you are wondering why I made that poll, late last night/early this morning, and I won't beat around the bush: So, as I mentioned in that post, Ataribetch accidentally made a page for a NSFW Moonlit Brew comic that I've been planning on and off with (instead of C5P44, which eventually got sketched!), since Patreon funds have been increasingly tight in the past year and a half since COVID wrecked everything up. 

Before COVID, I lost a bit of money due to wanting to make this page SFW (heck, one of the exit surveys even mentioned explicitly that was why that person left). So, with this sketched page, it got me thinking if I wanted to try and post NSFW content again, in order to get either former patrons to return and/or bring new ones in. From the looks of the results I've seen, it's been around 50/50. I was hesitant because, as mentioned in the past, marking your Patreon page as NSFW removes it from being easily searchable on their website.

RIght before I went to bed, last night, I came up with a compromise that should please everyone: Instead of making this Patreon page NSFW, I will make a new category on the MB/ACES Discord where people who want to pay around $8-$10 per month will be able to access official NSFW content for both Moonlit Brew and ACES whenever they are made, in addition to the other perks in the other tiers! (And before you ask, there will not be any price changes to the other two tiers!)

This way, patrons who only want to see SFW content can rest easy knowing they can look at this page with no worries, while those who want the more spicy content can access them on the Discord with proper permissions. Starting in September, I will be adding a new pledge tier called "The Coffee Drinking, High Rolling Sinner", with the benefits mentioned above.

With this, I will also be slightly changing stretch goals to where if/when I reach... let's say $125-$130 per month, I will commission Ataribetch to make a new page for that NSFW Moonlit Brew comic, in addition to the normal MB page, with more pages per month being added as pledge totals rise back up.

And with that out of the way, I would like to apologize for the lack of activity, this month; Aside from the growing pains of rehiring a "new" Moonlit Brew artist, Eli has been on vacation, all throughout August, and the internet where they've been staying has not been so hot. We made up for the lack of ACES content by having rough sketches made for Chapter 2 Pages 30-32, and the good news is Eli should be back home within a few days, as of the time of this post. In other words, Page 29 will be finished, and the other pages I just mentioned will also be properly worked on!

As for Moonlit Brew, pending C5P44 gets done on-time, Page 45 will also follow in September!

Once again, I'm sorry for the lack of updates through the past month, but hopefully, things will get back to normal, this month, and maybe these changes will work out and this page can make a full recovery!
