What To Expect: June 2020

It's hilarious that just went things would be slightly normal, everything gets chaotic again. ^^;

Anyways, as you might have heard at the beginning of the month, I I took a huge hit on my Patreon due to my bigger backers backing out due to Covid-related financial hardships. I already mentioned all this in detail a while ago, so there's no use in being a broken record about that.

That being said, I'm crossing my fingers that there won't be any negative changes as we go into June, since I've had a couple new backers, but others have changed their pledges from $5 to $3. 

So, pending nothing bad happens tomorrow, Chapter 5 Pages 35 and 36 of Moonlit Brew will be this month's newest pages! 

But, of course, that isn't all you will see, from here on out! As also mentioned back at the beginning of the month, I am also introducing ACES content to the Patreon! This is due to two reasons: 1. I was originally planning on introducing this comic here once Chapter 1 is finished, so that I'd have a bit of a fanbase built up to justify being able to do this. However, due to the problems I stated above, this had to be expedited, so that you folks would not be only getting 2 page updates per month, and hopefully introduce new potential backers.

And 2. I don't really have the money to pay 8 total pages per month (specifically, 4 MB and 4 ACES pages) out of pocket, and since my focus at the moment is on getting ACES to where it needs to be, the hope I had, before Covid ruined everything, was that the backers would be able to pledge enough to keep Moonlit Brew running, so all I would have to worry about funding ACES out-of-pocket. While that plan hasn't changed, it does complicate things just a tad. 

With that said, I should remind everyone here (especially for those that don't know) that 100% of all pledges go directly to the artist (and hopefully one day, artists with an "s") that help make these comics possible; the very second I collect these pledges, I immediately go on Paypal and send your pledges to Karolyne for new MB pages, without any hesitation!

Needless to say, I'll probably make minor changes to the Patreon to reflect the fact I am now implementing 2 comics to this page. All backers will get early access to Moonlit Brew and ACES pages a week before public release, no specific tiers needed (except for those who prefer seeing early sketches for $5, of course)!  

Of course, this might be temporary, pending on how popular this Patreon gets and if there's enough demand to make tiers specifically for those who want to read only MB or ACES, but the latter is still a baby, and I think this will give backers something extra to read and maybe be a fan of that comic, as well! :)  After all, this is a much better alternative to only seeing 2 complete pages per month.

Anyways, I hope everyone's staying safe, especially with what's been going on the past few days, and I hope you're as excited as I am that I can finally start giving you folks something new, in addition to what you expect!
