2022 - Changes to Commission Categories & Prices

Hey all!

I'll be making some changes to comm. categories & pricing that will be effective for any new commissions that start on Jan. 1st, 2022.

Pricing Sheet (still receiving tweaks):

----

COMICS

Comics will be charged by panel rather than set to a base price.
You still need a minimum of 4 panels for it to be a comic, with a max of 8 panels per page.

No two comics are the same, and this will allow for more customization and a better value for those who want more simple sequences.

***If you have a longer running project with me (like a 5+ page comic), you'll be charged according to the older pricing model in all cases where the new pricing model would be more expensive. This is to keep my original quotes valid and avoid unplanned pricing shocks.

BIGGER PIECES (FULL RENDER ILLUSTRATIONS)

My "inks w/ full render" style has evolved over time into something that resembles much more of a  "painted" style.

Starting next year, painted illustrations will start around the $320 - $350 USD mark, per full-body character + default background.

Upping the price will allow me to spend more time to create a more refined result. If less than a full-body is showing, pricing will be adjusted.

----
ILLUSTRATIONS

Illustration base prices haven't changed.
They will still start around $150 USD for inked, and sketched around $100 USD.

There are options to add color and different levels of shading for an additional price.

While my illustration base prices haven't changed, I've made increases in pricing for those color and shading add-ons.

Color and shading has become more time-intensive but has been leading to more sophisticated results over the past year. Thus, I felt a price bump was necessary.

----

Again, this will all take effect in January.

Anyone currently on my queue will be paying old prices.

New prices will come into effect for anyone reserving spots in my January queue when the time comes (unless you fall into the comic multi-page category mentioned above).

If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to me and I'll clear things up for you :>

Comments

Per panel seems to be a solid way to go for pricing comics. Definitely a solid change.
