May 31, 2025 - Update

A few years ago we planned on moving to another state and bought a house there. Things didn’t work out, and we ended up not moving. We rented out that house for a couple of years and finally sold it this week. That made the last two weeks a bit chaotic and definitely interfered with my writing.
You’d think the holiday this week would’ve helped, but we have two little ones running around, so writing was impossible. That put me down another day. I was hoping to get a third chapter written today so that I could wrap this arc up, but that didn’t happen. I know we are all ready to move on.
Fingers crossed that next week I can break this terrible productivity rut I’m in.
I opened chapters 39, 40, and 41 for Root.
I opened chapters 42 and 43 for Harvester.
I added chapters 44 and 45 for Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, Divine, and Axiom.

I am amazed that you have written you 11 books while having a full-time, demanding job, and maintaining a work-life balance with your family and other commitments. Fans and publishers may be demanding, but family lasts forever. Corey Hart has a song, 'Never surrender,' with a line that appies. "With a little perseverance you can get things done, without the blind adherence that has conquered some." Rock and roll wisdom, ha ha.
