Terrors of Nowhere: Update Recap / Community Test
Added 2022-07-10 19:31:29 +0000 UTCSorry there's been a lack of posts, I've mostly been posting updates to this project on Discord, since it's easier and less work, and just more accessible in general. I'm posting this as both an announcement for an upcoming community test (no date set yet) and as a recap of the recent developments for this project.
World Progress
As of right now, most of the main systems for the world are setup, including an easily modifiable AI script, item ownership, and health, with 14 unique killers and 2 maps finished at the time of writing. Which I see as a win considering I only get like 2-3 days at a time to work on this.
Despite this, the most important script of the world is still not finished, as I've been using a script I wrote for a slender prototype about a month ago as the basis for testing these.
But, because of that, the world is in a "playable" state, or at least a state where you can experience the main gameplay of the world to some extent.
Community Test
One thing I need to make sure of is that everything, well, works when there's a large amount of clients present. At some point, I'll be doing a community test through the discord; so if you want in make sure you join the discord! (and let me know if you don't get your patron roles)
