Earlier today, or a few hours ago actually I released the update. I'm currently working on a small update to add and balance a few more small things, which will be version 1.41, I suppose. Unsure when it will release, but shouldn't be more then a few days; at most releasing whenever I remove the sticky note
The list of changes are below.
Bus To Nowhere 1.41 Changelog:
- Added a way for desktop users to transfer items into the Engine Room. I'm sure Bungo won't mind if you use his toilet. There will also be a way to send items back out from the vent.
- Lowered Abandoned City WhiteNight encounter chance when below 500 miles. This also negates WhiteNight's guarantee encounter in Red City when under 500 miles. Mainly changed because WhiteNight was too common in the early game
- Raised the chance of One Sin in the mountain to 1/3 if Penitence isn't unlocked.
- Changed the URL's of some radio songs to my own host so they play properly in other countries. Looking at you, entire Mystery Skulls album.
- Added a delay for events after entering a new biome to help prevent events starting in the tunnels.
- Fixed Engine Room audio being audible from the UFO
What's Next?
I will likely continue development of Waiting for Nothing, as well as Kuro's Apartment, which I have not publicly announced here yet. For anyone actually invested in the lore, these worlds will all be connected story-wise.
Waiting for Nothing is a "prequel" world about waiting for the bus. It's gimmick is the environment, which will change each time the lightning strikes and the light flickers; revealing many places to explore before the next flash. On top of other random events that may happen in the world, it'll aim to be a much less chaotic experience and something more haunting. It is partially inspired by my own experience waiting for a ride in the darkness of an unknown environment, feeling that at any moment something was going to get me.
Kuro's Apartment is my home world; but also, a world in an apartment belonging to a character referenced in Bus To Nowhere. I am unsure if this will become public, but I might leave a link to it here for those who are interested when its ready enough for public viewing.
