I am a creator who pursues "personal style" very much. I really like to add my own preferences to the game, even if others will not like it

因为一些原因,我决定制作一款游戏,因为我热爱transfur,我喜欢那样做,我想制作一个游戏,因为我能做到,我想在世界上留下一款游戏作为我几年来对兽人这个文化的热爱,我想为此做个总结,以及还有强烈的恨意…以上这些情感让我在大约半年内制作出了changed,大概从2017年十月份到2018年四月份,这个游戏只筹到了几千块钱人民币,游戏发行时没有广告,没有发行商,没有宣传,没有支持者,没有预告片,也没有发行日,真的什么也没有,这是一个一无所有的游戏,四月四日我做完了游戏之后,我就随手在四月五日直接发布了游戏,没有什么原因,就因为我那天做完了

这个游戏,说实话,我不怕得罪人,我就是做给自己玩的,这个游戏充满了难度、恶心人的陷阱、故意恶心你的设定,这一切都是我故意的,当然,也是因为rpgmaker和我的技术能力有限,我就是喜欢那么做,我享受创作这些东西的过程与感觉,我只对游戏某些地方进行了修改,因为有些地方连我和测试员都难以通过,是的,这个游戏就是一个业余人在大学里拼命制作出的业余游戏,这个游戏充满了我自己喜欢的恶意的元素,充满了transfur,充满了困难的挑战,充满了恶心人的操作方式,也充满了…我的爱,和我所期望的…puro,他是我心目中的救星,我也没想着靠这个游戏盈利,这个游戏就默默地制作,默默地完成,然后在一个不太适合的日子默默地发布了,除了我,谁会爱他?

这样一个业余,而且充满自娱自乐、过度“个人风格”的游戏最终却获得了不小的成功,我很吃惊,在高兴之余,我也接收到了很多让人不是那么开心的评价,尤其是中国国内,对这个游戏的评价让我触目惊心,不知道为什么,国内人们喜欢拿我的游戏和那些筹资百万美元、有着十几人专业制作团队、出生时就带着光芒的独立游戏去比较,有的人甚至说我的游戏是智商税,比较可笑的是有人说我即使得到了百万筹资也做不到像Toby fox那些制作者一样的作品,可能没有toby fox的水平的那些人都不配制作游戏吧,这样的评价还有很多,非常非常多,我曾经写过千字长文想说以上的事情,但我最终还是没有发布出去

不过呢,这个游戏毕竟还是个业余学生,怀着恨意、热爱,为了自己一个人而制作出来的,充满个人爱好、风格的游戏作品而已,无论人们喜欢他,还是恨他,他就是他

即使是粗劣的作品,如果是用心制作的话,那也不算是垃圾,我是这么觉得的,不是所有人都是天才,不要因为看到了天才,就要对其他普通人的努力吐吐沫,changed他看起来很差,但我竭尽全力了

A game doesn't need anything more than your love put into it, and I think you've very much achieved that with Changed. You created what you knew best and loved, and that's what matters most; because of that, you also succeeded in making a game that other people can love. Even if extensively Changed is little more than wish-fulfilment, it's still touched other people's hearts, be it through what you put into it, or the ruthless trial-and-error style of the game, or even through the development of a friendship between Colin and Puro. I always have to wonder what it's like seeing people like Neko or me or other YouTubers play your game. Like, how does it feel knowing that people play your game in a similar fashion as the YouTubers you mentioned play other games? I remember at the end of my let's play, I recommended your game, with tears in my eyes (I'm probably one of the few to cry at the end), and an accomplishment in my heart. I wasn't a huge fan of challenging games, but I still loved Changed. It was an amazing experience that I'm glad to be able to have enjoyed and I thank you for that.

The people giving negative review are usually mindless gullible people, who just “judge a book by its cover” (a phrase that means that people think it is good or bad just because of it's cover). It is like saying I dislike the color blue. The believed that video games should be X Y or Z (Must have certain amount of developers supporting the project, must be in 3D, or must look like AAA games). This is an opinion, video games should not be required like this nor should it limit the creative freedom developers wishes to have.

“I wanna” games (and other games like “Rage in peace”) usually have hidden traps with zero indication that would kill the player, so these game are memory-based puzzles that the player must memorize in order to proceed. Have you ever heard the term “trial and error”? It is the act of testing various methods of doing something until one finds the most successful. To offset this, checkpoints are everywhere, so that the player does not have to memorize huge chunks of the level all at once. This mechanic also applies to games that don't use hidden traps, but the player will still die a lot, common in platforming games such as Celeste and VVVVVV, as precise timing and positioning are needed.

I like to see a game like this, where you make what you want instead of trying to make what everyone else might want. A game that is truly you is a great thing to make, I think. I'm glad you had that ideal. I also played some older games in my childhood, and one of the "I Wanna" games. My favorite thing about the "I Wanna" type of game is that usually very little progress is lost. Very often you can save, and since it is very difficult I do not feel bad for dying. The many creative ways they try to surprise and kill you can be funny if you play it with a sense of humor, and it is thrilling to get through such a game. It makes some sense that you were inspired by such games! I think that there is room for all kinds of games to be in this world. It's really interesting hearing about how this game came to be and what inspired you to make it. though the game might not have gotten the best reaction initallly just know that the amount of work you have put in to the new changed-special (and the old version of changed aswell) have been amazing and should not be minimized. I'm pleasure to hear your story. There seem to be a lot of people who don't like "Changed" because of its difficulty even though they like transfur or your characters. There are definitely many people who like easy game and hate difficult one, but I think, especially retro or RTX Maker game, some difficulty is needed and Changed's difficulty is also one of thing to enjoy Changed. Everyone will feel bad and care about that too much when they heard bad words about their works even though that was what they want to make or just for themselves. I hope they don't make you hard and affect your game. It must be very hard, but as just one person who like your style, I hope you don't focus on someone's bad word who hates your work and do just what you want. 加油!!

I've recommended Changed to many people because it's not only something they may also like (They like transfur/TF), but because it's a good challenge of a game too. I honestly love difficult games like this, they make me feel like im actually acomplishing something and getting better at the game, too many games today go easy on you and the satisfaction just isn’t the same, and you’re work is not “crude” ive seen fully priced games(like sonic and mario games) look and play far worse than this, lastly: by all means make this something for YOU it’s something you’ve created so why not enjoy it
