I don't think what you're doing is ridiculous at all. It's quality assurance, and to my understanding, it's a crucial part of the process with game development. It is most certainly tedious (as you said, who knows if the translation misinterpreted your words), but I appreciate a creator that is willing to put in the extra time to insure they are delivering a quality product, and I dare say you already have in the past. I noticed the bulging box trap (interacting with it causes stiger to take your box), seems to “activate” (enters a state that it does the bulging animation if you walk past it) once you push the box at least once. It doesn't matter where you push the box anywhere, thus, the animation of Stiger taking your box can happen offscreen (interacting with the bulging box triggers the animation as expected, but because Stiger taking your box is offscreen, the player cannot move during this animation, so the player thinks he's stuck for a few seconds). I was thinking of moving the trigger so that if you push the box past the area where the bulging box occurs to do that animation.
