Charlotte pin-up pose
Added 2022-12-11 20:11:31 +0000 UTCI had the urge to draw Charlotte, so... I did.
I want to build up a "portfolio" of the kind of pictures Charlotte would make a living posing for, similar to the kind of photos Bettie Page and June Palmer were famous for.
The technique is one I think I'm going to adopt for future illustrations, and maybe even extend to my comics work, because I like the results. Instead of an inked* line, I'm using a dark (but not black) pencil* line. (I used that technique in last month's Tetsuko pic, and I think it worked pretty well.)
And I recycled some background elements from a Tetsuko Cosplay Calendar... this one, to be specific. Different color background, though; pink suits Charlotte more than blue.
