Added 2024-11-23 06:06:47 +0000 UTCI'VE CONCLUDED ON WHAT MY NEXT STEPS WILL BE, READ ABOUT IT HERE
//---------//
Taking some time to mull over what I wanna do next while drawing the comic has been super useful, taking some time to reflect on everything I've done thus far and people's receptions to it has given me some thoughts on what I may or may not do going forward.
While the animations are a ton of fun to produce and I know folks dig 'em, videogames are also something I really like doing and I think a lot of people know me specifically for that (and maybe want to see more of that rather than the animations?) As I've said many times before now, doing both in tandem is just straight up impossible for me, one would have to be on pause while the other is in progress.
Both the games and animations are something I could not do without all of your support, plain and simple, so I want to know what YOU guys are here for and what you want to see from me.
The poll is mostly just to get an general overall sort of idea on what people want to see, but I genuinely want to hear your honest thoughts on what you'd want in specifics as well in the comments. I obviously can't promise I'll give everyone what they want exactly, but it's important information to me and you deserve to have your thoughts heard.
(This probably goes without saying but the comic will continue to be worked on until it reaches it's conclusion regardless of what I decide to do next)

Smaller bite-sized stuff is definitely a good idea! I think something that can be given out more "piece-meal" is definitely the way to go so people aren't stuck mostly waiting

2024-11-25 16:51:42 +0000 UTCI think I would probably say "minigames" with the occasional more ambitious project thrown in every once in a blue moon when you really have a solid idea. The big games are cool but they take a long time and it's a bit of a bummer when they don't happen to click with you. I think doing little minigames and interactive animations are the way to go. If nothing else it would let you experiment with ideas and mechanics and move the most successful ones to a "big" game. Which in turn would allow you to create those faster. That is if you have a clean enough code standard that you can reuse code from one project to another. =P

2024-11-25 16:50:13 +0000 UTCI think if i were to do games id want to approach it differently than I have these two previous ones, i'd wanna get something playable into people's hands significantly sooner, something where people don't have to ignore updates to avoid spoilers. Wario ware style minigame thing is a good idea!

2024-11-24 18:07:35 +0000 UTCWould the possibility of a BK related set of games be on the table? Like, Billie and the gang starring, it could be a "two birds one stone" deal in a way...

2024-11-24 01:17:42 +0000 UTCWhat ideas do you have for games in the future? That would influence my decision a lot I think. Before Lilith's Lair I would've said animations, but now I'm torn. Games feel like the best of both worlds considering the amount of animation we got from Lilith's Lair. I really like interactive smut. I feel like the only thing I really want out of animations is more Burger shorts. I really want to see that "story" continue, but perhaps that could become a comic like tales from the burger kingdom. I personally try to avoid spoilers for your games so comics and art between games is extremely appreciated. I like seeing your characters in a variety of settings and situations. Which is a strength of the animations. Things can change month to month. I guess you could do some sort of Wario Ware style mini game thing if you wanted more variety.

2024-11-23 23:37:14 +0000 UTCGood to know what you like to get out of animations, that'll definitely help when deciding my approach going forward

2024-11-23 18:58:48 +0000 UTCSo, I voted for animations, but I’m torn. I think overall the games are a better “experience”. I try to not read or watch many of the previews, cause I want the first play-through pure. Games take a lot of time though, so I really miss your stuff between releases. I think what I would like to see the most is mainly game dev time, but broken up every couple if months with an animation. But honestly at the end of the day whatever brings you the most joy, cause it always hurts me to see an artist just putting out “work”, cause they have to. I said it before but every time you post I’m just glad I get to see your work again after I lost track of you before. <3 Keep the dream alive, and keep Zoey well fed ;).

2024-11-23 17:36:20 +0000 UTCperosnally iam more in favor of games as they can also include animations like liliths did
Wowthisistoogood!
2024-11-23 16:58:37 +0000 UTCAbsolutely love your work in whatever form it takes, for me personally I started following because of your games. While I think your animations are incredible and top quality, I also find that you’ve filled a niche that no one else seems to have done yet, I can find hundreds of amazing animations, yet video games, not so much, at least ones that match the quality you put out. No matter what direction you choose, I’m sure we will all support you, I’m excited to see where it goes!

2024-11-23 15:35:29 +0000 UTCJust a random little guy coming in to give me two cents. But, I like your animations, they're nice, good quality, typically funny (which is uncommon but not unenjoyable for fetish centric stuffs), but I absolutely love your games without a doubt. You really know how to make them fun, and as an added bonus, they usually have animations within the game themselves. I'd die to see more Kurger games but I'd rather not have you killing yourself just for the sake of it. You do you, either way your work is awesome!

2024-11-23 08:15:37 +0000 UTCThat's true! It was something I was thinking about as well since I think there are lot more capable animators than me that are doing what I'm doing, but not as many people who know how to make a videogame. I really don't think I'd ever be able to fully stop making games tbh, but I guess the question is more "Do I keep pressing forward with games or do I go with the original plan of going back to animations for a good while?" Good to know your preference!
Burger Kurger
2024-11-23 06:31:56 +0000 UTCThank you! Yeah I don't think I'd ever completely drop one or other, but games do generally take a lot more time to fully complete than an animation, so when they're in the rotation animation would need to take a backseat for a good long while, unless the game i made was significantly shorter.

2024-11-23 06:26:51 +0000 UTCBoth the animations and the videogames are nice. But I do lean towards the animations and bit more than the games, whether it be the shorts or the mini animations, as some of the character interactions in them are funny and get a good laugh out of me, which makes them enjoyable to rewatch from time to time... well besides rewatching for the *spicy* stuff. But I do like the games as well, as they also have some fun interactions, such as Lilith's Lair, as it has some fantastic animations and some funny jokes here and there. Even though I lean towards the animations a bit more, I can't really complain about which one gets more focus in the future, as I do enjoy both great at the end of the day.

2024-11-23 06:19:35 +0000 UTCPersonally I think a mix of the two is better, like, 3 or so animations followed by a game to mix it up. I'd love to see a Visca's conquest 2 sometime but I know other game ideas and animations would take priority first of course. I'm going to support your art regardless.

2024-11-23 06:13:00 +0000 UTCon a personal level i feel that i see more quality animations coming out of expansion fetish centric circles than quality games. your game work really stands out and while i'd support you even if you stopped because i like your art, it is why i was interested to begin with.
