Better late than never (part 2)

It's been said that "an artist never finishes a piece, merely abandons it." In most cases this means that the artist will look at the work, try to decide what (if anything) can be done to improve it, then concludes "aah, I could spend another year on this thing and it probably won't look that much better."

That's the case with this pic. I "finished" it a couple of days ago, then began second- (and third!)-guessing what I could do to make it better. I replaced the trees because I didn't like what I'd done with the first ones, and I think these look better. (They could look even better, I suppose, if I was willing to spend another three months on it, but...)

Anyway, here's the finished pic of Tetsuko, in her "giantess" from, facing down the deadly Raijin (who I found out apparently isn't in the original Pacific Rim but in its sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising.)

BTW, according to the Pacific Rim wiki, Raijin is 106.83 meters in height, which works out to approximately 350 feet tall. Given that, Tetsuko is, what, 200 feet tall? 225? (I'm horrible at estimating heights.) I like the fact that Tetsuko is smaller than Raijin in this pic, which makes the monster that much more intimidating-looking (although Tetsuko doesn't look all that intimidated LOL).

I don't know why, but I feel Tetsuko looks more intimidating. XD Certainly more ripped.
