Angel 5x4 Hell Bound

For those that watch the full episode, just to let you know that I ended up rewinding to see a certain moment again (which you can see that reaction in the edited episode) but the full episode has been edited so there are no rewinds/breaks so it's all good!

Lots of moments in this episode I did NOT want to look at (but some I was brave and had to go back for a proper look haha). I don't mind some scaries, and this is a good level for me. Just the right amount!

I talk a bit about the Sanshu prophecy in the outro - I'm VERY curious about this!!

I've actually seen a lot of it when it first came out 🥲

With Buffy and Angel wrapping up... do we think she should start Supernatural so we can keep getting out occult fill?

The next episode is one of my absolute favorite Angel episodes. I have a sneaking suspicion it will be one you enjoy as well, for a lot of reasons. 😉

Horror is a weird one for me. I really HATE the scary stuff and I get genuinely frightened, but then I react stupidly and probably laugh out of nerves - which might be annoying with a reaction video 🥲. But the more I see little bits of horror in Angel/Buffy and Doctor Who, the more I am sort of excited for it! I did really like the Scream movies (I desperately need to edit the third one HAHA) and I would like to watch more... Weirdly, I used to LOVE the first Saw movie when I was in my 20's. I rewatched it a couple of years ago but couldn't get through it, it was a bit much/gory! Maybe I've gone soft in my old age 🤣

I'm having a bit of trouble with Disney Plus buffering at the moment, so I will have to watch this later. I just wanted to say if you are interested in dipping your toes into some horror, and the level of horror in this episode was a good level for you, then I would recommend you check out an amazing 90s existential/psychological horror movie called Jacob's Ladder (the original 1990 version, not the remake, the remake misses the entire point of the film). Anyway it's a very thought provoking and fascinating movie with kind of a similar vibe to this episode in terms of the scary stuff (although you might still have to peek through your fingers in some scenes).
