Angel 4x22 Home

Here we are at the end of Angel season 4! I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for joining me on this journey so far. We are so close to the end of Buffy, and with just one season of Angel left to go... It's very quickly all coming to an end.

The next Buffy episode will be out at this time tomorrow. I know not everyone is an Angel fan, so I really wanted to work hard and push through these final episodes. I know it's a LOT but I know the videos will be there for when you want them, plus it will be helpful for those that only are here for Buffy. I didn't want to upset or disappoint anyone, so I thought this was the best solution 💜

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

S5 is my favorite Angel season so I’m still in! It’s nice having some Buffyverse left after Buffy ends, too.

I have such a huge hate and love relationship with Joss Whedon, Love because he created Angel and Buffy, and hate that he tore Cody's whole storyline down out of spite that she got pregnant. Just an over grown nerd who got success and decided to flex on these actors who would never get with him. He is an amazing creater, but a monster when it came to be becoming popular himself. Charisma Carpenter will tell you her self.

This finale is much better than last seasons finale, in my opinion. The prophecy from last season, "The father will kill the son", actually ended up coming true. Like The Master said before though, "prophecies are tricky creatures". When Angel "killed" Connor, it was really just the catalyst to giving Connor a new and happy life.

i am looking forward to season 5, i think it might be my favorite season of angel. its so interesting. in contrast i think season 4 is my least favorite. i love her as zoe but i hate jasmine and i hate what they did to cordys character after all her growth over the years. such a waste.

There is a DVD commentary for this episode by Tim Minear, co-creator of the series, and writer and director for this episode. Trivia Tidbit: Tim wanted a black panther to contrast with the White Room and the animal handlers the show uses found a black African leopard for the scene (which was a split screen). The cat was reacting to his trainer, not to Gunn. There are two species of big cats that may be called black panthers, African leopards and South American jaguars. Both species exhibit a color variation called melanism, which is the opposite of albinism. In the right light you can see the rosettes (spots) which are normally present on both species. Charisma Carpenter came in to film the scene in the store where she is strapped to a bomb. This was shot shortly after she gave birth to her son, Donovan, on March 24th. Juliette, you noticed that Connor's bomb disappeared during the fight with Angel. Per Tim Minear, this was a continuity error that wasn't noticed in time to correct. Right after Lilah leaves the hotel after the opening scene, Lorne comes into the lobby and we see Fred and Angel together and when Angel stands up he is buttoning his shirt. Tim Minear commented on how this scene could appear. What were Fred and Angel doing? Dirty minds want to know. Actually, there was a scene shot, but cut, of Fred giving Angel first aid for the wound we saw on his chest in the previous scene.
