Added 2025-03-21 20:00:08 +0000 UTCVery interesting and intense episode! As I write this, I'm currently wrestling with my mouse (computer) and also patting my cat (feline) who wants to be right beside me whilst I work at the moment. Cute yes, and a bit annoying. BUT SO CUTE
I'm SO interested in this Robin Wood (why did they use that name, by the way?! It's too similar to Robin Hood!) storyline and Spike. VERY interested. This is going to get really bad for one of them....

So, here we find out that Buffy's power comes from a demon. In season 5, Dracula said her power is rooted in darkness. He was right. :D I love season 7 so much. Season 5 is my fave, but season 7 is a close second. It's funny, though - while season 5 itself is tops for me, and I love Glory as a villain, because of this season, The First is my favorite villain. Catching up with your reactions, Jules and this was a fun one, but I'm excited to watch episode 15. That's one of my favorites of the season, and I'm glad to see from your post you liked it too!

2025-04-05 05:09:09 +0000 UTCRegarding the principal's name, I know they chose Robin because they wanted an androgynous name since they hadn't decided who would play the part when they came up with the character. I imagine the last name of Wood came about from one of the writers just having a bit of fun, but perhaps a reference to a famous good guy character was a small hint that the principal wasn't actually evil.

2025-03-21 22:19:40 +0000 UTCThe actor who plays Robin is so watchable and with that backstory I could have happily watched seasons more of him. Would make a great spin off. I was right at the edge naming him my fave new character but that Andrew comes over in a way he didn't in Season 6. Oh yes Andrew's consistent with se6 but there's so much more breadth to him in this new context.
