2025-02-23 07:38:04 +0000 UTCLast episode and this one are two of my favorites from this season. I really love season 7 so much, and I'm glad you're enjoying it as well. We're now at the part of the season where a lot of fans feel it goes downhill due to the arrival of the potentials. I agree with what you said about them at the end of your reaction, that they can be too mouthy and negative. I definitely get why people don't like them because their attitudes are definitely bothersome to me to an extent as well. However, I do really like the potential storyline in general, so I just kind of look past their annoying qualities. Plus, you have to keep in mind that they're all teenagers and don't have the experience that Buffy has, so some of their feelings are understandable when you realize that they're just scared kids.

It's a little side project by the Whedon brothers and Maurissa Tancharoen with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Filion (Mal of Firefly) and also Felicia Day. It's available e.g. on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Of9kHpCv1ts?si=9Hc3V2bTaT_rWyDD) and there shouldn't even be any copyright issues for a full audio-on version (I hope). It's only about 45 minutes long, originally it was released in 3 minisodes.

It's true that they are extra hands in a fight, but when dealing with an enemy that fights by playing on fears to manipulate and can’t be physically fought, making more easy targets for the First to prey on might not be the best idea. I think it’s the right decision though because they can’t be protected from the bringers otherwise.
