WesLilah smut, full horror movie heebee jeebees, The Beast at Connor's birthplace, Lorne wiih a crossbow, Shotgun Wes. I was reminded how I full on love this episode. Doesn't it just feel like an epic? The cinematic Old Testament horror vibes, the full gang armed on the rooftop and The Beast with incredible prosthetics and stature. The actor who plays him is Czechoslovakian Vladimir Kulich and he's... *looks it up* 6′ 5″. 6′ 5″! So far we've got New Dark Wes, electro Gwen, Mystic Cordy, hell portals and The Beast. It really sets the trend for a huge super-powers slug-out vibe this season. Most viewers agree there are huge structural problems with Season 4. They begin to become apparent in 3-4 episodes time but its worth letting them slide off and enjoying the ride for as long as you can. We'll have a good ole bitch about it when it's too much. 2025-02-14 00:34:58 +0000 UTC"Rain of Fire" was the original name for this episode right up to airing. At the time I was torrenting it, hey UK here, I remember it only changed days before. Wikipedia says it was aired as 'Rain'. Explanation being from scriptwriter DeKnight because Warners were afraid of legal issues from the reference to Coppola's 1979 war film classic. Gorram, did they even go to law school? Evil, evil. Nowish is a briliant title. I'm glad it won out.

2025-02-11 05:51:11 +0000 UTCYay, The Beast has arrived! I'm not really sure what others think of him, but he's one of my favorite villains in the Buffyverse. He's so menacing looking and I absolutely love his design. The Cordelia & Connor scene is gross. She was like a mother figure to him, and they also have zero chemistry. I don't know a single person who ships those two. lol It's one of the biggest complaints about this season, which I agree with, but I think this is still a great season. Lots of interesting things to come.

Actually, they still taste pretty good, but now you should know better. In 2014 Hostess sold off their snack cake line and the new producer changed them slightly and sells them as Chocodile Twinkies. If you recall, the original Twinkies appeared during the bleacher scene of 'Inca Mummy Girl' in season 2 of Buffy. Now you know. If (a big IF) you can get past the rather icky relationship, the rest of the story line for this season is EPIC. After Willow and Xander mentioned it in season 1 of Buffy, you knew there had to be a Rain of Fire at some point. L.A. will never be the same. Correction: I have been reliably informed that Willow and Xander mentioned 'Rain of Toads', not Fire, during their computer search for ill-omens in the pilot episode of Buffy. Maybe the toads will come later. 🤔
