Doctor Who 4x11 Turn Left - clean edit

WOW. Wow, wow, wow. Doing one thing differently, one little thing, can change everything. It really makes me wonder if this is the case for us, too. What if one day we went a different direction on our walk? Or didn't go to the shops on a Wednesday evening as we were too tired? What would change? Anything? Everything?
I think this is why I love Doctor Who so much. It gets me thinking, wondering, pondering. I adore it. And this is Donna's turn to shine π
I hope you all are having a lovely week!

Rewatching this show i also realised that in (i believe it was) the episode in Pompeii, the daughter seer (i forgot her nameeee) has 2 premonitions in the end about the Doctor and Donna. I donβt remember what she said about the doctor but to Donna she said βthere is something on your backβ and that refers to THIS ep. I was mindblown when i rewatched it haha. Not sure if it was Pompeii or planet of the Ood episode but in any case it referred to this ep.

Rose and Donna are both forces of nature in this episode. Not only has Rose traversed universes to try and warn the Doctor, but she now has to help Donna rectify this warped timeline that sees the world in ruin. Rose is more grown up and sets aside any jealousy she may have had during her initial tenure. And Donna⦠even without the Doctor she proves once again just what a good and true person she is. Both are heroes and my favourite companions of the entire show!

I didn't recognize her either at first but then I was wondering why her voice was so familiar to me

there is that "theory" that every single choice we make creates an alternate universe where we made the opposite or at least a different choice, and then that universe continues until your death, but also each choice in that universe will spawn even more alternate ones etc...

Btw, the people who died alongside Jack Harkness saving the Earth from Athmos in this episode are the protagonists of the more sinister spin-off "Torchwood". Sarah Jane Smith also had her own spin-off that was more for children with K-9, Sarah's adopted son and other kids defending Earth. So Donna's importance is also reaching into these spin-offs.

Did you notice that the fortune teller's actress has also played Chantho (the insectoid assistant of Professor Yana, who always says chan before a sentence and tho afterwards) in"Utopia"? I actually didn't when I first saw it but after I noticed I couldn't unsee it.

It most certainly COULD be the case that doing one tiny little thing differently might change the course of our lives. Luckily we'll never know though, because depending on what changed, it could very well haunt you for the rest of your life.
Thanks for another excellent reaction Juliette π

I love how we've had Midnight, which was all The Doctor and now we have Turn Left which is all Donna π₯°
