I hope you all have a wonderful weekend planned! Not much doing here, maybe a trip to browse the shops and out for dinner somewhere on Saturday ๐ธ๐ I haven't decided yet... I don't know if it's the same with you guys, but pre-2020, I never used to make bookings as it was pretty quiet. These days, if you don't make a booking, you're out of luck. I am a little worried as I have NO booking so perhaps I'll be at home eating McDonalds instead ๐คฃ

Here it is like that in spirit with no masks needed anymore and things like that, but the prices for everything is truly through the roof now and they blame it on Covid. I am tempted to move out onto a farm in the middle of nowhere and get back to basics ๐

I'm actually American. lol I think those words are sometimes used in American English as well, but I seldom hear them amongst my peers. I just read a lot as well as watch a lot of TV/movies (both American and British), so I guess it makes sense that they would be in my vocabulary. As for COVID, everything here has basically returned to how it was prior to 2020. Of course, the U.S. really didn't handle the pandemic well at all, so it's of no surprise that everyone here wants to forget about it and continue on as usual.

I feel like it's right up there with "Band Candy" as far as funny episodes go. I still remember how absolutely gobsmacked I was at Spike/Buffy getting together when I watched this for the first time. Obviously it was due to Willow's spell, but it was the pair-up I never knew I needed until it happened. Just absolutely bonkers and hilarious. ๐

So many places went out of business, plus the staffing levels aren't what they once where so places aren't able to accommodate as many customers as they once could. Not sure if it's the same in Australia, but I work in the hospitality industry and since 2020 it's been a lot more difficult. But anyway! The episode. This is generally a fan favourite. It's a bit irreverent but also dealing with the real emotion of Willow struggling. Can't wait to watch it with you.
