Band of Brothers - Episode 4 - Replacements - Full Reaction

Bull. What a MAN! Its going to be hard to "replace" (haha, get it?) Winters as my favourite, but Bull is right up there. I adore how he gets in and helps the new soldiers, without mockery. He just wants to help. He has a kind heart and I hope we see more of him as we go along 💜

Band of Brothers - Episode 4 - Replacements - Full Reaction

What an episode! I'm watching BoB for the first time and so far it has been consistently great, and of such a high quality. It was hard watching those women being made a spectacle of with seemingly the whole town revelling in their suffering. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the facts of what actually happened so I may be mistaken, but I can imagine they only slept with the Germans out of fear for their lives (if not then I have slightly less sympathy for them). I also wonder what happened to that woman and baby we saw on the side of the road. I thought Bull was a goner for sure for a while there. Especially when the enemy soldiers wandered into where he was hiding. Bull was so lucky that the other guy couldn't get a shot off because he was staring down the barrel of the guys gun for a good couple of seconds. Also I have to say that the actor playing Bull did a really good job, and he has such great charisma. Along with Winters, he's definitely one of my favourite characters (no disrespect meant when I say 'characters', I know they are real people, real heroes). Loved the video Juliette, and I'm eager to see what happens next.

Winters described bull (Sgt. Randleman) one of his finest soldiers.

A great movie that tells the story of this operation is A Bridge Too Far from 1977. A 3 hour old school style epic with a great cast and tells the story from both sides.
