Buffy - Some Assembly Required S2 E2 - Full Reaction
Added 2023-04-17 23:00:02 +0000 UTCIt seems (so far though it's early days!) that Season 2 might follow along with the storyline/monster of the week alternate episodes. Choosing between both types of episodes is hard for me as I enjoy them both, especially in the case of Buffy!
I enjoyed this one and have no idea if it's viewed as another "Teacher's Pet" or not, but I found the story to be interesting and different.
What I loved is that we get more conversations around Buffy's behaviour in the last epsiode, so top marks for not just forgetting about it and moving on! LOVED that!

I have learnt I must let Giles fly free 🤣 I will look on in envy and she better treat him right 😤 I liked this one, but it's not a favourite of mine. It did have some great moments though!

I really loved how they portrayed Daryl as I wasn't expecting it to be such a deep ending. It really wasn't even his choice and yet though most of it, he was made out to be the bad guy 😓

2023-04-18 22:11:19 +0000 UTCNice to see you warming up to "the Calendar woman" :-D Buffy's spin on the "bride of Frankenstein" idea. It's not bad at all, but I don't feel it adds much to the classic story. I do particularly like Giles this episode, he has some very fun and endearing moments.

However, this time round, I did actually watch it because I wanted to see your reaction to it, and I actually found it more enjoyable than I usually do. :) And I too like how the series doesn't just forget things that happen in episodes ones the episode is over. :)

Good observation skills on Angel's shoes. And yes we're still very early in season 2, but still a ways to go. Also you are correct that the events of episodes are not forgotten when they move onto the next. Loving your reactions so far. Looking forward to more.
