2023-02-08 02:45:34 +0000 UTCI also prefer the no-audio because I don't have the best hearing, and sometimes have trouble hearing your voice over the sounds of thet show. I prefer to lower the show volume and turn on the closed captions so I can hear you.

2023-02-07 23:48:50 +0000 UTCIf you're going with the watch along format then I suspect most folks are going to tell you they prefer no audio since they'll probably be using the audio from their own copy, or at least I do. As an aside it seems that Buffy and Angel seem to have the least issues with copyright stuff, at least within Patreon and most reactors I subscribe to don't feel the need to use the watch along format with just an unblurred picture-in-picture. (Anything from HBO is usually the worst, they are notoriously shitty about copyrights). Obviously I get why you would still want to just to head off any copyright headaches and it shouldn't really be a problem for anyone. And if it is, eff em lol It's your channel. My preferred set-up is to leave an unblurred strip along the bottom and/or a reasonably light blurring so that it is easiest to use visual cues to sync or re-sync. An unblurred minute or so lead in before the full blurred effect is also very helpful. Hopefully that all makes some sense and is at least somewhat useful to you. And don't worry too much about little mistakes along the way, we'll all figure it out together. Have a good rest of your day, my friend ๐
