A little update!

Firstly, I just want to wish everyone a happy new year. I hope that this year brings you happiness, health, and love ๐Ÿ’œ I'm feeling SO positive about this year and I have a lot that I'd like to do and see, both personal and business. I just have a good feeling ๐Ÿคญ

A couple of updates!

โœจGaming channel โœจ

So we are getting close to the end of Max Payne 3 and Assassin's Creed. I've actually finished recording the rest of the videos in the series as I am a POWERFUL WARRIOR ๐Ÿคฃ And I've been thinking about what's coming up next. There are a few games right at the top of my list, and as always I want to let you guys know first. At the top of my list are Cyberpunk, Spec Ops The Line, GTA 3, The Last of Us Part 2. So those ones are what I'll be wanting to record next! I hope you guys like them ๐Ÿ’œ

The reason why I didn't record TLOU1 is that I knew the story even though I hadn't played the game, as I watched a couple of people play it. So over the Christmas break, I decided to play it by myself and I loved it. A lot of moments I had forgotten about and I would have loved to have shared my reaction to that, but I am definitely about keeping things real and didn't want to "pretend" or "fake" playing it for the first time. It's SO important to me to be genuine. I don't know much about TLOU2 so I'm really excited to play that one.

โœจ Reaction Channel โœจ

This year, I want to do a lot more MOVIES on the reaction channel! So that's definitely in the works. I might have a small break from a second TV series for a bit and try some movies and then get back into a series. X Files will of course still be continuing!

I've actually just now finished Firefly, including the Serenity movie. I haven't edited the movie or the last episode as yet, but I felt it important for me to get cracking and finish the series and movie to avoid any potential spoilers, and thankfully I wasn't spoiled and went into Serenity fully unaware. The movie had me almost hyperventilating due to sobbing, SO THAT WAS FUN.

I loved Firefly so much.... it will forever mean the world to me. I'm not yet done though, as I still need to react to the River Tam Sessions videos, and also see if I can find some blooper reels to watch together, too!

Full length reactions is still something I'm thinking about and I would LOVE to edit one and share it here to start with and see what you guys think. I have been reading and learning about what other creators do. Some blur it and upload to YouTube, some don't blur it and put it on Google Drive. I'm sure a few of you know me well enough to know I'm an annoying goody-two-shoes and as a result, I don't think I will go down the Google Drive route... I'm sorry if that upsets some people, but I do feel more comfortable with simply blurring. It all takes time to edit, but I'm really hoping to at least get ONE thing ready soon, and get some feedback ๐Ÿ’œ

Okay, that's enough for today ๐Ÿคญ Thank you all for being here. Love from Jules xx

Oooh, Juliette's very own Patreon. Shiny! Well, Centane, I hope you realize that I like you so much that when you cry it almost makes me cry. Now you're telling me that you like it? :-) There were great DVD extras and some of them are available on YouTube. Google for Firefly bloopers and Serenity bloopers. One other fun DVD extra is Adam Baldwin singing The Hero of Canton out of character. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEIDvgapTw8 Also, there is a fan-documentary called Done the Impossible, which includes most of the cast and shows the fan reaction. You can find it on your favorite streaming service or you can buy the DVD online. I haven't seen anyone react to this, but I think you maybe should or at least you should watch it yourself. Also, as I mentioned on YT, there is a series of comic books. I haven't read them, but they are considered canon and I've heard good things about them. Finally, if you go on Amazon, you can purchase a Mal-style Brown coat, of course, or maybe just a set of Funko figures. I really look forward to seeing what's next here. Stay shiny!

All those games sound great Juliette<3 Thanks for the update:)

I've encountered only very minor moments of wonkiness so far, on par with the stuff you'll run into in an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game. Haven't even needed to reload an old save (although I rotate through a few save files just in case). The developers seem to have done a great job of fixing up the bugs. My one little request is to please include side jobs in your recording; often those missions are as compelling and complex as the main missions. They frequently involve characters who are important to the story, and can even affect the game's ending.

Kyle, that's amazing to hear!! I've been worried that people won't like it much because of all the stuff in the beginning. I hear mostly everything is fixed now!

Ooooh yes, I am curious about Yakuza!! I'd love to go into that world for sure. I really enjoyed Sleeping Dogs and people said it's similar kind of vibes? I'll be playing Cyberpunk on the PS5 so it should be okay ๐Ÿ’œ

Cyberpunk is soooooo good. I'm currently 40 hours into my first playthrough, and holy heck is it enthralling. When I'm done (or maybe even before) I'm going to sign up for Netflix just to watch the Edgerunners anime. It's just such a cool world.

I just realized, as good as Cyberpunk is, I think Yakuza 0 or Yakuza 2 would also fit really well with your channel and personality, and they would be fun to watch. With out a dedicated graphics card, Cyberpunk might be too taxing on your system.

Sounds good Juliette. Looking forward to seeing all the excellent gaming and reaction content you'll be making this year. Regarding the reaction channel, are you planning on working straight through all the X Files seasons? It might be worth thinking about having a couple of TV series that you alternate between, meaning watch one season of the X Files then move on to another show for one season and then go back to the X Files. You could then have movie reactions alongside them. That way you'd always have one TV series on the go and have a variety of movies to bring in a larger audience. TLOU2 is one of my favourite games to watch let's plays of so I'd love to see that. I hope you have an awesome year Juliette, you really deserve it.

Cyberpunk ended up being one of my favorite games, though it took me a while to start to vibe with most of the characters. I really hope you enjoy it. And I'm certain the waterworks will be flowing when your reaction to Serenity comes out. That movie hits me straight in the feels, every time. Defo will be looking forward to it.

Movies, I haven't picked any yet ๐Ÿคญ I'll have to go through the list in the community tab with all the recommendations and start with something popular. I'm probably going to continue on with Aliens to start with! I'm going to get Netflix soon so I think that will be really helpful! I only have Disney Plus at the moment ๐Ÿ˜Š

Juliette Gaming

I can check! It's a HP Omen laptop and it's about 2 years old now. This is what it says: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz. It can run games pretty well, but I'd say any brand new top notch games with the graphics turned up high probably wouldn't work. I usually game on the PC or PS5!

Happy and Healthy New Year to You AND your Family, and I wish I had your energy

Andy

I am looking forward to your content. Have a list of movies you are considering? Edit: Out of curiosity, how good is your computer? Care to share processor and video card info?

Leenis

This.

I think you're going to love Cyberpunk, J. The tie in anime Cyberpunk Edge runners is also fantastic and doesn't spoil anything in the game.
