2024-06-20 17:53:44 +0000 UTCI burned through the audiobook of the new Stephen King collection pretty quick. With no Holly Gibney to wheeze out Will Patton does an incredible job bringing the first half to life, but then the narration abruptly switches over to Stephen King himself for some reason and the magic just absolutely grinds to a halt haha. Almost worth it just for the laugh but definitely one of those times where you’re so taken out of the story you just sit there like “wow, I never thought about it but I guess acting IS pretty hard.” Sorry Steve you know we love ya.
