How mush speed could you confidently achieve running in boots with loose knives in them? Enough to pull off a successful pole vault? Also full disclosure I’ve never pole vaulted. That being said I’ve seen people do it. When done right your body bends in a specific way. Would having two sticks strapped to your back allow you to do the required amount of bending?

I haven't watched this one yet but I did think at first that maybe "Tanaka" was Hitomi Tanaka and I was p. excited for some titties but I'm sure Prof Tanaka is great too. Putting this one on my list to see asap though because it sounds nuts.

I was taking Kempo classes when this movie came out, and I remember Sensei Mike singing its praises. He said it's fair play to take advantage of Professor Tanaka's knee injury as a weak point and use the environment around you. Really made an impression on me as a young martial artist.
