Time I Be Honest...

That’s what made me decide to quit my last day job and commit to being an artist full-time. Over the past six years, it’s thanks to each and every one of you Patrons that I was able to do what I love most, and meet my financial obligations, namely:

Given the upcoming changes to this platform (illustrated here), as well as more external factors beyond my control (mostly to do with life here in the UK), I need to carefully consider what I’m to do going forward.

I’ve known for a while something like this was to happen and there aren’t any easy stopgap solutions or platitudes that can easily rectify the situation. And this isn’t going to just affect me, mark you, it’ll be a universal experience for Content Creators and Patrons alike, something no doubt you may have seen for yourself in your own day-to-day existence.

I honestly thought 2020 would’ve been the year for all of this stuff to come into effect but given what we’ve all had to endure, I guess it was a delayed effect.

I don’t know what I’m going to do presently, given my viewpoint of the world of the past few days has been like this:

Anyway, I’ll finish the next page of Poking Around, but at this time, my plans for September are ???

I don’t know whether to carry on here or not, it all feels meaningless given how easily things can be swept out of existence. Sorry for being so dour and serious; am rather at a loss right now. What a birthday week it's been.
