The Importance of Being August...

... or just generic update.

So, what's happening for next month?

Patreon

I'm going to finally update my front page so it's a lot more straightforward and up-to-date.  Looking at other Patreon pages (thank you Graphtreon), it's obvious that most people prefer short and sweet.  And the artwork has to speak for itself, which I don't have very much of on my front page.  Oops.

I'm also going to have start tagging a lot of stuff since navigating through here to the older one-off pieces is a bit of a nightmare.   Maybe I should just collate it all and stick it in a Drive folder or something with a link going "here it is!"

And I've some other stuff on my mind, but I've gone on about it enough on Discord.

Poking Around

I've already scheduled the first page of the new saga to be up on 1st August.  I'm going to have to limit myself to 2 pages a month though since it's been extremely demanding to come up with these pages visually.  I'm still not even sure what to term Poking Around as since it's deviated pretty far from the source material.  I guess a slice-of-life satirical comedy-drama?   

That said, since the upcoming  source material has turned out to be pretty dissapointing, expect more original content I guess?  Still, thank you again to everyone who participated in the votes - really appreciate it.   It's been really fun seeing what I can produce and squeeze in.   Still wondering whether I should go public with it since it seems to be the most popular on here...

Flawed Fealty Furtherance and Infurlation Redux

Fwooh... the two big ones, which admittedly fell by the wayside.  But now I know what to do exactly, just gotta put stylus to tablet and just do it.  Though please bear with me since big action pages take a while to draw (and in Flawed Fealty's case, colour).  I'll try to get 2 pages done a month for each.

Bear With

Got two more model sheets to do which I'll do in August and then the big poll will commence.  I've outlined the plot should Bear With continue but it's up to you, the Patrons.  I'm not even sure if I should have $25 tier to be honest since that seems to be pretty steep and though some will argue that everything together is worth the price, others may be a bit like "ummm", considering there's so much stuff put out for free online, a lot of it being better-quality and more conventionally-attractive than mine.  Hmm...

Pinnups

Call it paranoia, but given how puritanical certain online service providers have been in recent months, I'm erring on the side of caution here.  That, and it's been rather dry this summer in terms of usuable content I can draw upon and I'm not sure if I'm actually very good at it.  Maybe I've been browsing through too many now-dying imageboards and Reddit and whatever, but I still feel there's a massive gulf between my content and the stuff that gets readily shared....  I dunno.

Anyway, the point is this:  I'll thinking about putting an end to these polls come September or October because the results seem to be always a case of "whatever's popular at the time" and I really don't want to be stuck doing Housamo/Tokyo Summoners or Nekojishi fan-art over and over again (especially as I don't care for either of them at all).   I haven't a clue what to do next month as it is, so I'll have to randomly come up with something.  Let me know what you think.
