Welcome to November

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the month of October—usually my favorite— was a disappointing one personally and productively. I am finding it very hard to get excited about anything right now. We didn’t really do anything for Halloween this year—no FilmFest, no decorating— and the drawing isn’t really doing anything for me either. If I wasn’t dependent on this for income, especially going into a tight holiday season, I’d be looking at a hiatus right now I think. I’ve got some ideas as to why my interest in things I usually enjoy seems to have disappeared which I won’t go into here.
For now I will have to try and power through. I have two days off this coming week from the day job which I’m going to try to devote to drawing, specifically on the three commissions I have lined up, but also generate some more content for here. It looks like Tina’s the winder for the holiday wolfout, and I still owe you a Meg sequence as well as finishing off “Shall We Dance.” If I can get through those things and the holidays, maybe I can consider taking some time away to re-evaluate what I’m doing here and see if I can get the spark back. In the meantime all I can do is thank you for your patience and support.
