Abigail Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! The spooky season continues as we watch Abigail for the first time. This movie's big twist was spoiled in the trailer, and at the time we wondered why. We discuss knowing the twist going in and it's impact on enjoying the movie. And....AND....stick around until the very end as we realize something and makes Jay crumble in embarrassment.

I was cringing so hard as I watched, because I knew they would feel so bad when they found out.

Taken For Pomegranted

I dont mean to make it worse, but Angus Cloud talked like that because he had mild brain damage from an injury. You can see his head scar in a few shots

About Durrand's accent, I believe hearing that it's either his real one or close too. He is French Canadian in real life

I couldn't believe she was Irish!

Couple fun facts: the bulk of the movie was shot on location! The exteriors and a lot of the interiors (though not the grand library for understandably goopy reasons) were all filmed at the Glenmaroon House, also known as Guinness Manor. And yup, it is those Guinnesses. Radio Silence (who also did Ready or Not btw) looooove blood explosions. All that's practical, and Jay's right: it's blood cannons. I believe they used somewhere around 30000 liters of fake blood for the movie, and a little over half of that was in the pool scene alone. They literally used up all the fake blood available in Ireland and had to import more. And I think Jay clocked this in the trailer reaction but in case he didn't remember it: Abigail played Matilda in the movie, and I agree she did great. She'd never done ballet before, had to do a lot of stuntwork/wirework, and have a creditable American accent. Glad you guys enjoyed!

I forgot this movie existed. I thought I was being tagged for a second.
