Doctor Who S1E03 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! After two fun episodes it's time for the intensity to ramp up. Twists, turns, highs and lows this is Who at it's best!

Someone's probably mentioned it on YouTube, but regarding the conversation at the end about going back to Villengard - they've already done it! Steven Moffat introduced the weapons manufacturer all the way back in his first story in the OTHER Season 1 with Christopher Eccleston. He destroyed them.

i noticed your reaction to it so just want to clarify. The ambulance knew who ruby was because they're anglicans, future humans. Theyre from Earth and have records. This is why is said she was 3000 odd years old, because its her calender age based on birthday. And its also why it said no "next of kin", as the presenter in the christmas special confirmed there are are no records of her family. Also, villengard isn't a new thing. Villengard was first mentioned in series 1 2005, the empty child/the doctor dances by captain jack and the ninth doctor. The doctor vaporized it and turned it into a banana grove. It was also the planet in capaldis final episode, the christmas special with the first doctor. It was the desolate planet with "Rusty the good dalek". The Anglican marines have appeared multiple times, first in the weeping angel/river song episode, then good man goes to war with the headless monks.

I agree completely. Return to form :) I feel the first two episodes were the tone-setting episodes for this Doctor. "This is how this Doctor is going to go. Expect more silliness, wackyness, and musicalness with this guy." And now that they've set the tone, they can start in with the more Doctor-y storylines, and we know how the Doctor will act. More or less. I think once the season is over, and we go back to rewatch it all, we'll look at the first two episodes with the attitude of "Yup, that's the Doctor. He's acting so Doctor-y. These are great" Just my opinion.
