Last week I watched all the episodes and Season 2 Ep 9, Sleepytime, hit hard in a good way. I lost my mom in Dec and I've been having a very hard time dealing with her being gone. But that silly little 10 minute cartoon did so much to help. I totally cried like a baby, but it was cathartic and I finally feel like I'll be ok and that my heart is healing. So thank you guys for all the smiles you have given me and everyone else!

A bit of context for the extended family in BBQ, so that's Bandits younger brother Stripe and his wife Trixie, their two daughters Muffin and Socks are 3 and 1 respectively in this episode. And you were right, since Socks is 1 she still walks on all fours and mostly makes traditional dog noises with a few words mixed in. I think one off the reasons that you guys connect with the parents so much is that they are canonically in their early 40's, making them either Late Gen X or Elder Millennials
