2024-04-26 19:28:29 +0000 UTCShady Sands is featured in Fallout 1 and 2, those are the games where you see the birth and evolution of the NCR. For many fans of the first games, seeing Shady Sands nuked in this show was bit of a gut punch. Up until now Bethesda left the West Coast alone, New Vegas was an Obsidian game. This is the first time Bethesda has told a West Coast story, and they nuked arguably the most important location (lore-wise) from the first 2 games. As an older game fan, I'm personally ok with the choice, but it was the most significant addition this show made to the lore/history of Fallout.
