Then y'all started watching and I decided to watch the episodes again with you and now they're hitting. Can't wait for your other episode posts. Cool to learn that Adam grew up in NoVA also, so did I, 87-02. Surprised you didn't go to the Fairfax Festival.

2023-01-16 14:46:19 +0000 UTCI think what stood out to me this episode was that while Wednesday always does transactional relationships, and thus never really subscribed to Enid's friendship, she was also always open about her intentions and why she offered help or wanted something from someone. That is why the friendship with Enid worked - they repected each other's outlook on life and Enid knew that while Wednesday might not be emotionally open, she will be honest, which builds trust. In this episode. Wednesday for the first time simply manipulated people to get what she wants. Instead of telling Tyler and Enid that she needed to sneak off campus to investigate, she tricked them. I think even if the situation at the house hadn't turned dangerous, Enid would still have been mad, because Wednesday betrayed her trust.
