Ms. Marvel S1E05 Watch Along

Hey Peaches! It's time to go back in time and learn, a little, about The Partition. Also Kamala's family. And the origin of the story of the 'stars' that led her Nani back to her father on the train. But that's not all, we also......beat the bad guys? Wait......that can't be right. Let me check my notes.......*pages ruffling*.....hmmm, yes it seems like the bad guys are no more. Which leaves the story in an interesting state. We have no idea what's going to happen next week in the finale.

Ms. Marvel S1E05 Watch Along

EVERY reaction today has pointed out how abrubt the ending feels. Its funny cause I didnt really have that reaction. I wanted more..sure but seeing EVERYONE point out how odd the ending of this episode felt is cracking me up. I guess people are just dialed in and want more. I agree that the Noor lore..is hard to pin down and to 'suspend disbelief' with. A lot of their moment feel.. odd and rushed. I wish they gave the show 10 episodes to let it breathe.. I think that is the consensus among reactors. These Disney Marvel shows NEED more episodes to really flesh out these stories and allow better pacing. I hope the Marvel/Disney execs are taking notice of this VERY consistent feedback(with Star Wars shows as well). Maybe the next series of releases will get more than 6 episodes..*fingers crossed *

Damage Control is the final villain. I kind of saw this coming, although I thought that Najma might stick around through Episode 6. Kamala must return home and, with Kamran, stop DoDC from destroying everything they love. Bruno's comic book origin is that his mom lost him over drug offenses and his grandparents have custody, but they can't properly take care of him so Kamala's parents sort of "adopted" him into their family. That's why they let her spend so much time unchaperoned with him: they've known each other since second grade.
