A/N: This is a long one. It is so nice to be able to take all day on an update, and not have to shorten it in order to get it out. This is the start of the second portion of the story, which (as you can probably tell) will be faster paced and more action packed.

Quick warning: There is some decently messed up stuff in this chapter. None of it is gross or deplorable just for shock factor, so it's not as over the top as some authors will make their dark arts stories, but it's still worth a warning. If you're worried about this, you can skip the descriptions of Crouch's lair and jump straight to the dialogue without missing anything crucial. There is also rape implications at the end of the Yaxley scene, which you can skip by jumping to the line break (the O-O-O symbol) after the line: Harry smiled at him, rising as Yaxley lifted the Firewhiskey bottle again. “It’s a deal then,” he said.

(Patreon already hid this once, so it's up in this form now. However, they hid it for Teen Safety, which has absolutely nothing to do with any of the content warnings issued above. So I guess they're just oddballs)
