A Slave in Seoul (new story)

Hi friends! I started writing a new story, about Nathan, a guy studying in Seoul who befriends Eunji, a Korean girl who convinces him to take a job as a "tester" for her company's new cosmetics products, but doesn't tell him exactly what that entails...

This story may be my longest yet, and the bondage and femdom aspects become increasingly more prominent as it progresses. I hope to continue this story soon - this is just the first part.

This is  a completely new story, meaning it doesn't go with any of my current pictures or comics, although I might make some comics to go with it in the future.

I should also give credit to this story on deviantART, which is one of the best peices of femdom writing I've read. It is what inspired me to write this.

Without further ado, here is the story. I hope you all enjoy it!

Nathan, a 23-year-old American, had been taking Korean classes in Seoul for several weeks when he first met Eunji, a local Korean girl around the same age. They connected online as both were seeking a language exchange partner to practice their Korean and English with, respectively. They hit it off instantly and began meeting up several times a week, usually at one of Seoul's ubiquitous cafes. But Eunji's English was quite a bit more advanced than Nathan's Korean, and so they found themselves mostly reverting to English whenever they talked and Nathan's Korean abilities didn't improve much.

Nathan was fascinated with South Korea, but his Korean language abilities were almost non-existent and he was a rather introverted person, so he found the idea of exploring the country on his own somewhat intimidating. It was the first time he had ever left the States, and South Korean culture was quite different from the US. So it was convenient to have a Korean friend like Eunji, who would take him to interesting places and explore Seoul with him every weekend. Eunji would even pay Nathan's way, as he was a poor student living on a scholarship stipend and didn't have much cash to spare. Nathan was surprised that Eunji could afford this, considering the high cost of Seoul living, but whenever he would ask her what she did for work, she would only give him vague replies. He gathered that she was involved in the cosmetics industry, which was booming in Seoul, but he got the impression she wasn't telling him everything. Nathan figured maybe she was just modest and didn't want to brag about her high-paying job.

Eventually, the two of them got so close that Nathan began spending most of his time at Eunji's apartment. It wasn't big by US standards - two bedrooms and one bathroom - but considering the price of housing in Seoul it was an enviable place for a single girl in her early 20s to live - and far bigger than the tiny, dirty one-room dorm that Nathan shared with a roommate. The two of them would study, cook, and watch movies together. Sometimes Eunji would even let him sleep over in her spare bedroom, which she had converted into a home theater/office.

Eunji was so generous to Nathan that he would sometimes feel guilty and want to find ways to pay her back. He would always tell her he'd be happy to do anything for her, and that he owed her a huge debt for all that she did for him. But Eunji would always reply ambiguously, telling him she might need his help with something in the future, but for now she just enjoyed spending time with him and improving her English abilities.

One day, Eunji finally called in the favor. She told Nathan that the company she worked at had developed a new cosmetic product and was currently carrying out trials. They had already tested it on some Korean people, but apparently they also needed to test it on a white person, since their skin had certain differences from Asian skin. Apparently the trials were a bit rigorous and would take around a week to complete, so they were having difficulty finding white foreigners willing to participate. The company would even pay Nathan for his time, apparently, and would consider hiring him as a full-time test subject if he performed well. Eunji also said she would get a bonus and possibly even a promotion if her company liked Nathan. Considering his lack of funds and his desire to pay back his friend for everything she'd done for him, Nathan said he was more than willing to participate in the trial.

Eunji's workplace was an unassuming concrete building located in an alleyway in the backstreets of Gangnam district - the heart of Seoul's cosmetics industry. As it was late evening, the entire area was glowing with neon and LED lights and bustling with nighttime activity. Eunji led Nathan down to the basement, where they evidently carried out their trials of new products. It was here that Nathan met Eunji's boss, Binna, an elegant woman who appeared to be in her mid-30s. She wore a short, form-fitting dress with high-heels, and her face had just the right amount of make-up on it - it was no surprise to Nathan that such an attractive woman would work in the cosmetics industry.

Nathan waited patiently as the two of them conversed together in Korean, seemingly in deep discussion about how the trial would be carried out. Finally, they led him into a tiny room behind a sliding door, which had a thin mat on the ground, along with a tiny bamboo pillow.

"This is where you sleep," Eunji said, "It's easier to do the tests at night since there's less moving."

Nathan didn't realize he'd be sleeping here, and was a little surprised at the sudden reveal. "Oh, I'm spending the night here?"

"Yes, this new product has to be tested at night when you sleep. So you have to sleep here all this week. I'm so sorry I should told you this before! But don't worry, I'll also sleep in the next-door room to keep a watch on you."

Nathan was a bit amused at the situation - why hadn't she told him he'd be sleeping here? - but he found Eunji's apologetic tone endearing and really wanted to help his friend out. "Hehe, it's fine, I'll do anything you want. I just wanna help in any way I can."

"Waaah, you're so nice!" Eunji threw herself on Nathan and gave him a big hug.

"Hehe, it's the least I can do. I owe you big time!" Nathan had begun to develop a crush on Eunji, and so this sudden hug was certainly welcome.

Eunji and Binna then began talking excitedly and laughing in Korean. Nathan laughed quietly to himself, pleased with how excited and thankful they were for his help. They must've been in desperate need of participants, he thought.

"Binna is also so thankful for your help!" Eunji said.

Binna then looked at Nathan. "Thank...you...for...help!" She said excitedly in her very limited English. Nathan couldn't help but find her lack of English proficiency quite adorable.

"Oh it's nothing, really," Nathan assured them.

Eunji then directed Nathan's attention to the mat on the floor. "First, you lay down here."

"Sure no problem," Nathan replied as he positioned himself flat on the mat, placing his head on the little bamboo "pillow". "Wow, this is a hard pillow!"

"Yeah, it must be hard for the test, because soft pillow can touch your cheeks and mess up the cream on your face. I'm really sorry it might not be so comfortable," Eunji said.

"Heh, it's fine. It's an interesting experience if nothing else."

"Yeah, this will be a really good experience for you I think!" Eunji then looked over at Binna and said something to her in Korean, causing them both to giggle. Nathan wasn't sure what they were laughing about, but enjoyed the view of two cute Korean girls standing over him giggling.

"Ok, now we will put the cream on your face. It's a kind of moisturizer that can make your skin more moist permanently after using only for one week and make you age more slowly. But for the most effectiveness, we have to leave it on your face for a long time, and your skin has to absorb the most possible," Eunji explained.

"Wow, sounds like this cream is gonna be big when you launch it!" Nathan replied in surprise at the seeming significance at such an effective drug.

"Yes, in South Korea people care a lot about their skin, so we are always researching advanced products like these," Eunji said as she and Binna both poured the cream in their hands and knelt down beside Nathan's head.

"Ok, now we will put the cream on your face, so don't move. It has to cover your face completely." The two of them began rubbing the cream vigorously over Nathan's face, making sure every wrinkle and pore was thoroughly drenched in it. The sensation of their hands rubbing a think, gooey substance over his face was quite pleasant.

"How does it feel?" Eunji asked.

"Cool and refreshing," Nathan replied.

"That's good. Next we have to put this mask over your face to guarantee that the cream is pushed completely into your skin." They then began pulling a white latex mask over his face. It took a bit of struggling as the mask was quite tight against his skin to make sure all of the cream was fully absorbed. It had holes at the eyes, nose and mouth.

"Sorry it's a little tight, but it's important that all the cream gets to be absorbed," Eunji said, "will you be okay to sleep like this?"

"Yeah, no problem at all. It's not too bad," Nathan assured her.

"Ok good. Now it's time for bed. Try to not move your head during sleep, since it's important to not disturb the cream. It may be hard, but just do your best."

"You can count on me. I'm looking forward to staying young forever, hehe," Nathan replied, trying to be a good sport despite the fact that this was a much bigger ordeal than he originally expected. Eunji and Binna then said a few words to each other in Korean, before both of them thanked him enthusiastically for his help and left him to his dreams. Eunji said she would be sleeping in the next room and to wake her if he needed anything.

The next morning came and Nathan had somehow managed to get some sleep despite the thin mat, hard pillow, tight mask, and mandate to keep his head still. Eunji came in to check on him, and told him that his face had rubbed against his pillow in the night and decreased the effectiveness of the cream. She said she would talk to Binna about it and they would find a solution for tonight, but that Nathan was free to leave and do as he wished during the day. However, it was important that he returned by 9 pm to continue the trial. Nathan was relieved for the time off and spent the day out exploring Seoul on his own, agreeing to return at the designated time.

But that evening, he unexpectedly ran into a group of other western expats, who invited him to a tent bar to drink some soju with them, and he accepted. Unfortunately, he ended up losing track of time and didn't get back to Eunji and Binna until around 10:30, and was a bit buzzed on arrival.

"I'm really sorry, I got invited out by some people and had a few drinks so I lost track of time. I hope it's not a huge deal," Nathan said to Eunji and Binna, worried he had let them down.

"Don't worry so much. It's only your first day, so we can understand. But tomorrow, it's important we don't lose any time," Eunji replied.

"Phew. I thought I'd blown it. Well should we get started then?"

"Yes, let's get started quickly. It's more ideal to start at the same time every evening." Eunji and Binna led Nathan into his room, where he laid down like last time. They spread the cream over his face and put the latex mask on him once more.

"Oh, I talked to Binna about making your head more stable when you sleep, and she said when test subjects move too much, we can use this." Eunji held up a neck brace, "Is it okay?"

Nathan chuckled a bit. "Yeah, anything that will make the trial successful!"

"That's so good news!" Eunji exclaimed, before saying something to Binna in Korean. They both began placing the brace around Nathan's neck and pulling it tight. It was much tighter than Nathan expected, jerking his chin up far more than was comfortable and making it virtually impossible to move his head at all, and even making it difficult to open his mouth. It continued to get even tighter as they tied all the laces as tight as possible.

"Wow, so tight!" Nathan said, struggling to open his mouth wide enough to get the words out.

"I'm so sorry, but your head has to be completely still, it must be tight," Eunji replied. Binna then placed her finger above Nathan's mouth and began poking around it as she spoke to Eunji in Korean, seemingly concerned about something. They both then began looking at Nathan's mouth and feeling around it as they spoke seriously in Korean. Nathan had no idea what they were talking about.

"Everything okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, just wait here for a minute, okay?" Eunji jumped up and ran to the other room, returning with a somewhat scary-looking metal contraption.

"I'm really sorry Nathan, but Binna thinks we must use this. It's because your mouth moves too much in your sleep, and the moving messes up the cream around your mouth. So it's really important that your mouth doesn't move at all." Before Nathan could say anything, Eunji reached down and forced the metal contraption between Nathan's teeth and wrapped the attached leather strap around his head, before pulling it tight. As she tightened the straps, the metal contraption was forced further back between his teeth and pressed down against the edges of his mouth. It was not comfortable. She then placed her fingers on some kind of lever on the side of the device and began pressing it. As she did this, the two metal bars stuck between Nathan's teeth began to spread apart, forcing his mouth open. With the neck brace pushing up against his chin and forcing his mouth closed, it required a lot of strength for Eunji to widen the device and force his mouth wide open, and it was very uncomfortable for Nathan.

Finally, it seemed she had widened it as much as possible, and Nathan's mouth couldn't move an inch. Binna began lightly examining Nathan's mouth and the device with her hands, making sure everything was strongly in place and nothing could move. She then said something to Eunji in Korean.

"I'm so sorry Nathan, but she said it must be little bit wider because your mouth still moves a little," Eunji said. "Don't resist it or you might hurt your jaw, okay?"

At this, Nathan suddenly got nervous and instinctively tried to lift his hands up to defend his mouth, but they were met with resistance. He suddenly realized that the two ladies were seated on top of both his arms, preventing them from moving.

Eunji then gently placed her hand on top of Nathan's head and stroked it a little. "Just relax, you trust me right?" This helped Nathan calm down a little and he relaxed his muscles.

Binna then placed her fingers on the lever and began widening the device. Nathan's mouth was opened even wider than he thought possible, but Binna continued to work the lever, opening it even wider, millimeter by millimeter. Finally, she was satisfied and stopped. Nathan wanted to speak but only a pathetic moaning sound came out. He instinctively tried to lift his hands up again, but they couldn't overcome the weight of the bodies on top of them. But he trusted Eunji completely and knew she wouldn't let anything bad happen to him, so he tried his best to relax.

Binna and Eunji again started talking to each other in Korean. Nathan was beginning to get nervous whenever this happened, as he was completely in the dark as to what was being said. Binna then got up and walked into the other room, returning with something in her hand. Nathan tried to look at what it was, but his head was completely immobile, so he could only move his eyeballs. With Binna off the top of it, his hand had naturally found its way to his mouth, where he was feeling the scary metal contraption secured onto it. But Binna quickly grabbed his hand and placed it down at his side. The two of them giggled slightly when this happened.

"Nathan, you can't touch it," Eunji said in an amused tone, still giggling slightly. Suddenly, the both of them were holding his hands down at his sides and shuffling something around, but he couldn't look down to see what they were doing. He made an attempt to shift his hands around, but realized they had been fixed in place. Binna must have brought in some kind of hand restraint.

Binna and Eunji then moved back up into Nathan's field of vision, carrying some kind of thick, brown strap. They began securing it over his chest.

"Binna's worried that you'll still move too much and maybe try to take off the gag in the night. So we should just use these straps to make sure you really stay still all night," Eunji explained as they continued to secure the strap across his chest. "I'm soooo so sorry it's uncomfortable. But we are so happy for your help."

The two of them finished their work and stood up, standing directly over Nathan's head. They were both wearing short skirts, providing a pleasant view for Nathan. At least his eyes could get some enjoyment, even if no other part of his body could. Though he was uncomfortable and a bit nervous about the situation, he was ultimately just really happy to be helping his friend and was more than willing to suffer some discomfort if it meant he could be of some service to her. What kind of friend would he be if he just gave up and refused to continue the trial because it was somewhat more difficult than he expected?

As they stared down at Nathan in his pathetic state, they giggled to each other as they conversed in Korean. Eunji then kneeled down next to Nathan's head and brought her head in close to his ear. "I have some good news. Binna really likes you and said you can be a great foot cleaner. You said you wanted job and needed money, so I told her you will be happy to do it. Is it ok?"

"Uh huh," Nathan replied, as it was about the only thing he could possibly say in his current state.

"She is so happy that you can cooperate. But first I want to make sure you are still so determined to help us, even though I think the testing is more hard and uncomfortable than you thought. You want to keep helping us, right?"

"Uh huh," Nathan said once more. He realized how clever Eunji was to rope him into this and ask him these questions after it was already impossible for him to refuse. But he found the situation somewhat amusing - and found it adorable how seriously Eunji and Binna seemed to take these trials. He understood it must be difficult for them to find foreigners to do such work and even admired Eunji for her cleverness. He was determined not to give up, as Eunji had been such an amazing friend to him and he wanted to help her in any way possible and demonstrate how thankful he was for her friendship, even if he had to "clean feet", whatever that meant...

Eunji and Binna turned out the light and left poor Nathan in his restraints, completely helpless. They shut the door behind them, and to Nathan's surprise, locked it. He assumed it was probably just so that other staff wouldn't accidently walk in on him while he was sleeping. As he lay there in discomfort, he could hear Eunji and Binna in the other room speaking in Korean and laughing and giggling. He loved the sound of their voices when they spoke in Korean - he found it strangely sexy - and was pleased that they seemed so happy, which he assumed was because of his selfless cooperation with these rigorous trials. He tried to make out what they were saying, but could only understand a word here and there. As he listened to their voices and lay there in discomfort, he tried to fidget and adjust his position, but each time was prevented from doing so by the strength of his restraints. He tried his best to avoid thinking about the discomfort by listening to the two lovely voices in the next room. He even heard drinks being poured - he did actually notice a small bar in that room - and found it somewhat regrettable that he couldn't join them. But he understood the requirements of these trials and knew it was important for him to have a consistent sleep schedule.

He continued to listen, and found their voices strangely comforting as he lay there, completely helpless. His thoughts began drifting wildly. He was far away from home, in a strange and exotic land, where he couldn't understand the language and couldn't do anything on his own - he was essentially helpless. And in said place, he was now made literally and physically helpless, strapped to the floor and unable to speak or move a muscle. As these thoughts rolled through his mind, he found himself comforted by the voices echoing in from the next room. He trusted Eunji completely and Binna seemed like such a warm and caring person. It was as though he had been completely robbed of all responsibility and agency, and his fate had been put entirely in the hands of these two beautiful women. This somehow gave him a feeling of liberation and utter peace, and a surge of warmth enveloped his motionless body as he drifted in and out of sleep.

Morning came, and Eunji came in to see if Nathan was awake. To his relief, she loosened his gag so that the distance between the two bars, the one pushing his top teeth up, and the one pushing his bottom teeth down, narrowed until the two bars eventually met. He could finally move his mouth and relax his sore jaw. He could speak, but it was still a bit difficult with the gag still wrapped tightly around his head and metal bars still sitting firmly between his teeth.

"How did you sleep? It must've been so hard!" Eunji asked with concern in her eyes.

"I didn't get too much sleep to be honest, hehe. But it's fine, I still wanna finish the trial and everything. It wasn't too bad, actually," Nathan said, trying his best to be a good sport and play down how uncomfortable he really was. He didn't want Eunji to worry too much and cancel the trial.

"Oh no! I was afraid you wouldn't sleep good. But there's some good news - Binna said you can keep sleeping today. She was also worried about your sleep, and since you didn't sleep a lot, I think it's good for you to keep laying here longer and try to sleep more. It's also good for the test if you lay here longer and get more sleep."

"To be honest, I don't know if I'll be able to get much more sleep in this position..." Nathan paused, as he didn't want to seem ungrateful that Eunji and Binna were letting him sleep longer, since they seemed to think they were doing him a favor. "...but if it's good for the trial, I guess I could lay here a bit longer."

"That's so nice! You lay down for a few more hours then. It's 8 am right now. I'll come to wake you up at 10 and give you some delicious breakfast," Eunji said as she got to work retightening Nathan's gag, spreading the bars between his teeth all the way back to how they were last night. That was an unexpectedly short respite for Nathan's jaw.

Eunji stood up and walked to the door, where she paused and looked back at Nathan in all of his pathetic glory.

"Now you be a good boy!" she giggled as she slid the door shut and locked it again. Nathan always found it so adorable when she said phrases and giggled like this, seemingly so proud of her own English abilities.

It wasn't until 11:30 am that Eunji finally returned to check on Nathan, even though he could hear her chatting with Binna in the next room for the past 30 minutes or so.

"You're awake!" She said as she looked down at him. "I decided to give you some extra time to sleep since I think you can use it and it's better for the test. I also remembered when you said you don't eat breakfast, so I thought it's good to wait for lunch."

She knelt down next to his head and showed him a plate of food she had brought for him. "This is mandu. Remember when we ate it together? You liked it a lot. It's like dumplings."

Nathan was happy to see she had brought some good food and anticipated having the gag removed from his mouth when Binna walked in and began talking in Korean with Eunji. As they talked, Eunji casually examined Nathan's gag and lightly toyed with it. They were talking about the gag, it seemed. After several minutes of seemingly serious discussion, Eunji finally looked at Nathan.

"Nathan, Binna said it's better to not remove the gag, and I agree. It's better for the test if your mouth doesn't move at all. So you can't eat mandu, but we will blend something into liquid so you can swallow it with no chewing. We'll come back in about 30 minutes with different food, okay?"

And with that, the two of them left the room and locked the door behind them, leaving Nathan alone once more. It wasn't until an hour later that they finally returned, carrying a pitcher with some blended food in it.

"Sorry we are a little late. We mixed some bananas, oats, spinach, eggs, and milk together so you can drink it. I think it's good and also healthy," Eunji explained as she knelt down next to Nathan's head and began pouring it into his open mouth. It was a bit difficult for Nathan to swallow it without moving his mouth, but he managed. The taste was okay, but he would have preferred the mandu. After finishing his "meal", Nathan began to wonder when they were finally going to let him free for the day, as it was already nearly 1 pm.

"Nathan, Binna and I talked, and we think it would be better for the test if you lay down the whole time. The cream will be more effect and we can also finish it faster. And since you came back late yesterday, we're worried it could happen again and it will be bad for the test. So we decided you can stay here and sleep all day and night. Binna was worried you might not agree, but I told her you will definitely be ok with it since you said you also really want a successful test," Eunji said.

Nathan definitely didn't want to lay here all day, but he didn't want to disappoint Eunji and Binna, and figured it would be nice to finish with the test earlier, so he didn't make any objection (not that he really could have, anyways).

Binna then said something to Eunji in Korean, after which Eunji looked down at Nathan. "Oh yes! We also decided we can test some other creams on the rest of your body at the same time. It is a waste to not take the most advantage of you while we can," Eunji said before the two of them let out a giggle.

"But first we have to take your clothes off. I hope you won't be too embarrassed about it," she continued, seemingly struggling to hold in another giggle. "But don't worry, we will lock the door so nobody else can come in and see you."

To Nathan's surprise, she suddenly held up a pair of scissors. "But we have to cut your shirt off, since we can't take off the straps or let you move at all. But we'll buy you a new and better shirt, so don't cry," she said as she and Binna let out another giggle.

Nathan watched as Eunji began slicing one of his favorite shirts in half. He found it regrettable, but figured he could easily find another one similar. Besides, he was happy that Eunji and Binna seemed to be getting some enjoyment out of teasing him like this.

After the shirt finally came completely off, they began removing his jeans and underwear, which he didn't expect. He was now completely naked in front of them, and was a bit worried about getting a boner, as he was getting rather aroused at being undressed by two beautiful women. Next thing he knew, the two of them were also strapping his legs in place.

"Sorry Nathan, we also have to make sure your legs don't move, since we will test a cream on them too," Eunji said.

Next, they both had a seat on either side of Nathan's body and began lathering a thick cream over his chest. This immediately aroused Nathan, and he could feel himself slowly becoming hard. Suddenly the two of them started speaking enthusiastically in Korean and laughing. He knew they had seen it. He tried to look down and see just how big it was, but the neck brace prevented his head from moving.

"Waaaah, it's so big Nathan," Eunji said as she laughed. Nathan's face turned bright red.

"Don't be embarrassed. We know we are so hot!" Eunji continued as her and Binna struggled to control their laughter. Binna then leaned in close over Nathan's face, seemingly examining it. She then burst out laughing again and said something to Eunji in Korean.

"She says your face is so red!" Eunji said as she also leaned in over Nathan's face. "Aww, you are so cute when you're embarrassed. But you can relax. We won't tell anybody."

They continued spreading the lotion down toward his stomach, past his penis, and finally over his legs. At this point, Nathan was struggling to keep his load inside. Somehow, their teasing and taunting had aroused him even more.

"Ok, we're done with that cream. Now there's just one more. If it works right, this one should increase the feeling in the skin on your penis, so that it is easier to enjoy the orgasm. I think this one will make so much money when we start to sell it," Eunji said as she and Binna began lathering it in their hands. "But try not to get too excited. It's already so big!"

With that, they began spreading the cream all over his penis. Nathan couldn't control himself any longer, and his clear, gooey liquid shot about a foot into the air before splattering all over his mid-region, as well as the girls' hands. They both screamed in surprise, before descending into uncontrolled laughter.

"You have so many surprises, Nathan! How can all of that fit inside you?" Eunji teased as the two of them cleaned up the mess. "I guess it means we are so hot? Thanks for the big compliment!"

After cleaning everything up, they both stood up and looked down at the even more pathetic Nathan, now fully strapped down, completely naked, and covered from head to toe in a thick, shiny cream.

"You look so funny, Nathan!" Eunji said as her and Binna continued giggling to themselves. "But we are so happy you can help us. I'm sorry we made you so embarrassed."

Nathan stared helplessly up at the two beautiful creatures, both humiliated and aroused. He hadn't expected these "cosmetics trials" to become such an erotic endeavor.

Binna suddenly said something to Eunji in a serious tone, and Nathan was instantly anxious to know what she had said.

"Oh yes, we also think we can start the feet cleaning soon. We are so happy you agreed to help us with that," Eunji said. "But first we have to do little test. Try to relax as much as you can, okay?"

"Uh huh," Nathan grunted in reply, as Binna suddenly lifted one of her feet out of its high-heeled shoe and began lowering it down toward Nathan's face. Before Nathan knew what was going on, he suddenly felt her toes in his mouth, which was still forced wide open by the medical gag, rendering his mouth completely helpless against the intruding foot. Nathan's eyes widened as the toes slowly slid down his tongue and he tasted their saltiness. They continued sliding toward the back of his mouth until finally they were nearly at his throat, and he let out a quick moan in mild surprise and discomfort. Her foot was now seemingly as deep into his mouth as it could go.

Eunji then kneeled down and brought her head in close to Nathan's mouth to examine it. She began speaking to Binna in Korean as she tinkered with the gag, while Binna shifted her foot and toes around in Nathan's mouth. Nathan could only speculate as to what was going on.
