May Updates: Our Wars Have Ended, TSV novel, I'll Dance

As ever, a huge thank you for your patience and support. We really appreciate you sticking around during the quiet / off-season periods - it's a massive source of reassurance so just want to say we're grateful and hope you're all keeping well and safe.

OK, updates!

Our Wars Have Ended

At the end of this month, we're planning to put a public casting call out for our next show, Our Wars Have Ended, a dark / weird fantasy full-cast audiodrama set in a world of aristocratic dead, grisly fleshcrafting industry, and the bizarre horrors of imperial nostalgia and social regression in an era of rapid technological change. I'm really excited to get this thing out and find some really amazing actors to work with on it. If you're a voice actor or you know someone who is, absolutely please keep an eye out - there are going to be some very fun and juicy roles in this thing!

We've worked up a provisional logo and then we also asked a much better artist, the insanely talented rosenkranz, to create a piece of art for the show to help set the tone - it's absolutely gorgeous! (CW: And gory.) You can find it below.

TSV novel

The first Silt Verses novel draft is written and currently going out to publishers to try and solicit interest! I'm not going to say more because I don't want to jinx anything, but fingers are very much crossed on this side and also, whew. It's big (about 170k words at first count).

I'll Dance In The Deep Shadow

You may remember that our other potential project, I'll Dance In The Deep Shadow, is a Cold War-style weird noir/spy/horror. I've been getting in some work on it as well (partly because Our Wars is very ambitious and we've wanted to keep our options open in case it's too big a workload for a pair of new parents) - so please enjoy some draft artwork and an excerpt from the show bible.

Other stuff

Once the casting call is out I'm hopefully going to tackle some long-awaited (and long-delayed) tasks on the transcripts and finalising the remastered Ep 1 of TSV and one of the final So Long Good Luck eps. Muna is going to have a couple of spare hours as well (hollow laughter) so she's going to be tightening up our Patreon when she gets a chance.
