Are they listening to recommendations? I subscribed to their Patreon so I could send some, but it seems like the last few episodes they are just picking on their own.

2025-01-15 07:27:03 +0000 UTCThe episode is parodying "The Dead Zone" by Stephen King, made into a Christopher Walken film and later a TV series adaptation, where the protagonist Johnny Smith suffers an accident as an adult, goes into a coma for four years and wakes up with awakened psychic abilities, though he had shown lesser abilities since an earlier childhood accident, also in the snow. And of course he has to go find the serial killer, but there is much more to it. In the movie Walken walks around like Cartman here, with a cane and bandages on his head and a robe just like it. Book is better, one of my top King stories, movie is alright, kinda wanna rewatch it now, and I never saw the tv show 'cause the changes were disappointing. The Dead Zone is VERY relevant too now with a couple of recent chaotic news events, and then I never thought I'd see a politician like Greg Stillson in the White House, that was kind of wild back then. "Biggest Douche in the Universe" is another episode where Parker and Stone excoriate psychics for our amusement, and it tells you what happened to Kenny's soul after they killed him "permanently" for that whole season.
