Gym Failure Friends XXL - The Main Course
Added 2024-10-07 02:47:51 +0000 UTCWay back in... 2018? Probably thereabouts, I put together what is probably still my largest ever image pack/sequence. A few of the pics in this still rank amongst some of the favorite pieces I've ever made!
Similar to the original Jiggle Belle, the first Gym Failure Wife sequence was a very simple test of format and interest. Both of those works inspired their own slightly more ambitious sequel, for Gym Failure Wife that was in the form of Gym Failure Friends. Originally I released both a lineart only free version as well as a paid color version, dubbed the XXL version. This also included contributions from several artist friends and my writer buddy and sometimes collaborator Levi for a text piece called Gym Failure Friends Gaiden starring a fastfood restaurant employee who experiences the "splash damage" effect from Wife's ongoing antics.
An interesting factoid is that it took me so long to finish this thing that you can see some stylistic evolutions over the course of the images. I've never been quick...
In the interest of being comprehensive I'm attaching the eventual written "story" pieces I put together back when I uploaded this to my defunct DeviantArt profile. In an accompanying post I'll add some supplemental materials, including the guest illustrations, earlier versions of a pic, and my own "Bonus" art.
