I quit my job.

As some of you may know from instragram, yesterday I put in my leaving notice and quit my job.

On Monday I was on my 11,5h shift at work. I was running around the store, doing orders, cleaning, organizing things on the shelves. Apparently this wasn't enough. It's never enough in this store. No matter how hard you work, you can always work harder, accoring to my boss obviously.

Anyway, I was happy with how much I did during my shift, but on Tuesday, my day off, my manager (not my boss) texted on our work group on Messenger app, telling that me and the girl I was on the shift, didn't do anything. She took some pictures of missing prices on the shelves and a little bit of stuff that wasn't unpacked yet, sent those pics to us and asked what were we doing that day.

She said that what I did could have been done in 3 hours, not the whole day. Used some swear words saying we are lazy and slacking etc etc.

This was enough for me. Even tho my boss said I did a good job (on two occasions), her saying that was the last straw. I've been busting my ass, doing so much (we are understaffed) and now I am getting shit for SOME things that hasn't been done that day. It's a big store. There's always gonna be something that's not gonna be done at the end of the day. I also think that they have been blaming me for most things that weren't done during certain days, basically making me a scapegoat, which was hinted at me by a coworker.

I put in the notice, my boss didn't even ask why, just basically said "okay" and that's that. My manager later asked "why this sudden decision" and without looking at her I said "it wasn't sudden. It has been building up for some time now".

I will be working there until the end of December, but I am happy that I quit. It's a bad workplace with people talking behind your back. I wonder what the 2023 will bring but I am happy that I have you guys and that you support me, so thank you so much. Your support definitely did help me quit my job, knowing that thanks to you here and my viewers on YouTube I am financially safe.

I wanna get a part time job for sure and spend the extra time filming better content. Thanks to that I will have more time, but if a full time job somehere nice and non-toxic, prefferably without speaking to customers, happens to be walking by, I'll ask it out. If you know what I mean :P
