As Shot cos True is Sexy
Added 2024-07-31 06:47:10 +0000 UTCIt is getting easier and easier to edit photographs, sometimes most of it is automated in phones through filters etc. Most times even the people do not realise these AI edits, and it is not uncommon to hear that the pictures look so much better. I though am getting more and more uncomfortable with this trend and technology that is taking us further and further away from reality and truth, towards a false perfection.
I prefer to use different camera, lens and settings in camera for light and contrast etc only to achieve the frame that I am getting. Since the light is not always perfect, the only post process I allowed myself lately is adjusting light etc of the frame. And of course cropping the frame in a way to protect the anonymity of my collaborator. This also helps me shoot as well as I can cos I know there is no post process to fix things
Now for Patreon, I have decided to post only as shot images, no light adjustments either. Only crops for frames. I understand that some of my images will be underexposed, or over exposed, but again I have the liberty to choose the best few from a particular set. So I am sure I can keep it interesting.
