2025-01-26 08:27:40 +0000 UTCSo elks aren't strictly herbivorous. They will eat bugs and small birds and very rarely carrion when times are dire. They'll also eat the velvet from their antlers to recover the nutrients. Deer and horses, too, will eat meat if hungry enough.
