I think this was Patricia and Ashleigh saying goodbye to each other, which is really sad in a way, but which had ro happen. I agree with you that Elena/Emerald would let Patricia have Ashleigh as her Peet, but, Patricia made it clear that she only wants Elena/Emerald, no one else.

If Emma decide to leave Lil Gabby (or punish her by revenge) coz she speak to Patricia, that's Emma wasn’t really in love with her.
