TCO: Color sketch/test Page 1: P 1

Anyway, like I mentioned last week, I'm trying out a pile of new techniques for handling the line and color stages and this is the first sketch. This panel took about 10 minutes, so a final version will be greatly more detailed and cleaner. My idea is to combine the line art and color stages while also retaining the original sketches beneath, basically the opposite of how Thrill Seeker went, which had a classic tight, animation look to it. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but I hope it works, because it will make this thing go 1000 times faster.
Also, sometimes my comics with red/maroon line art ends up translating horribly onto phone screens, so if things are looking wonky so far, that's a work in progress.

Oh yes, there's gonna be a handful of panels where the dark regions are heavy deliberately. It's getting spiffed up right now!
