Across many genres the trend seems to be towards abrupt 2 minute singles (for my tastes this is over-represented in mainstream hip-hop, shoegaze and the nascent hyperpop/indie sleaze crossover world) so a ten minute Maruja or seven minute Loathe track with some meat on the bones is more than welcome
