Impending 1 week hiatus

I do not know the exact time that this hiatus will occur, but when it starts, it will last exactly 1 week. Not a second longer.

When I first started this series, it took me 2-3 hours to write each chapter. Lately, it's taking 6-9. Mostly, this is because I have to spend a lot of time going back through old chapters and outlines trying to figure out what the plan is for the current chapter, and making sure it doesn't contradict previous chapters. Even then, I still make mistakes.

Over this hiatus, I'm going to spend a lot of time organizing my notes, and making everything easy to find, which will hopefully make me more easily able to work in the future. I think I will probably also post a censored version of my personal character sheet. I've gotten a few comments on Royal Road about readers not remembering characters who had previously made brief appearances, which kind of killed a few of what I thought were cool reveals. This is probably due to the serial nature of the story, since it had likely been a month or longer since the readers had seen those characters, and this is not the only story they read, so they won't remember every little detail. It's unfortunate, because it kind of feels like a lot of the foreshadowing I try to do goes unnoticed, but c'est la vie. That's just how webnovels work. I'm hoping that with the release of the character sheet will give my readers a reference that they can go back to if they need a refresher on certain characters. It will also help me keep track of everyone and their roles, since the cast keeps getting bigger and it's getting harder to keep track of everything that's going on in all these different places.

This hiatus will also give me a chance to plan a bit further ahead, because, to be honest, the trial, and Lucy changing to the [Demon King of Pride] class were the last of my plans for the series that I made a while ago. I have since made a little plan for the next few chapters, but nothing as concrete or extensive as the previous plan, so this short break will give me some time to flesh that out.

This hiatus will probably happen at the end of this mini-arc with Patience. I'm not sure how many chapters that will be, but I expect it won't be more than 5, and could be as few as 2.
