OMSP + Retail Therapy - Feedback needed!

Holy awesomeness, Batman! I love the idea of OMSP+ including a purchase option. 👏🏻 Also, I’d prefer a swatch in BB as it’s what I’m used to, but I’ll take it however it comes. 😁

yea ill be adding the shelves as well! it just got hard trying to make styles to fit every need. so the OMSP lets it work with other cc shelves and such :)

i think i could add both options! and based on feedback i think ill approach this similar to the photo mod... add a controlling UI thing like the photo studio that is available on all the items. so all the shelves would have a OMSP hub for controlling its settings and allow u to toggle all off/on etc :)

I like the idea of a swatch in BB for OMSP. I like that you can delete it and it's gone. Unlike hovering over it and seeing a color. I personally don't have OMSP (this video introduced it to me), so I'm excited to check that out. Thanks for thinking so hard about improving gameplay!

I really would find the automatic invisibility useful, as it can sometimes be tricky to move or change the omsp after you've placed it, which has made me dread using them in the past, because they're more trouble then they're worth. I just want something that I can plop down fast - however if there could be a toggle to see it in build mode I guess would be helpful aswell, as it's easier to see the result. Not sure if it's possible to have both option in one object - but maybe it could be possible to have ab omsp control object that switches on and off the visibility of all the omsps on the lot? It's a tricky one for sure.

If you had 2 different versions for the shelf, that would be nice for those that don't do the retail options. But also offer the table as well? IDK, but I'm stoked about the shelf! <3

I use LMS' Live-In Business too and share the same exploding concerns. Rava's mod/cc would efficiently change the way retail business is handled and eliminate the need for a number of items/mods (my Mods folder would be pleased). Just off the top of my head: Brazen's retail stuff--which I also use.

I am so excited for this! Do you need play testing? I am always happy to bring the QA magic for you. I am personally a huge fan of a live mode visibility toggle because I'm lazy and I have too much CC so switching between live and build takes an age. I'm also super intrigued by an all-in-one multitasker, but I could see benefit in making single task items if you wanted to make more in the future, or if it made compatibility easier. Great job working through the bugs and quirks, this is going to be your best project yet. (And the bar is pretty high!)

ohh yea good point about showing when the walls are down. this is one benefit of that! i love the idea of the OMSP, but there are just a few setbacks with it (like being limited to height placement and also things being deleted with wallpaper changes etc). and thats the nice thing with the placement helper is it can be adjusted to work with objects of any height!

I absolutely love this! I personally would love the option to toggle purchasing on and off, because that way we can use them in both retail and in homes too. I love cluttering shelves, tables and fire places and also the vanity table (always hated the lack of decent slots on the vanity table). And I would also love the idea of a single and double tile option too, but honestly I would be happy with whatever you decide to send out. I love the original OMSP shelve and use it all the time in my builds, but would love to see all my clutter items stay in place when I hide the walls. Thank you so much for all the items that you make and share with us 💕

no this is helpful! and i dont plan on removing any of the items that are currently available (in fact i have an update to the cake maker too!). this would be more an addition... also the omsp would work just the same fyi! can place any item on it to instantly purchase and have it double as deco

yesss!! and thats the idea :) and by using the placement thing you can use it with most objects (like the refridgerated retail display etc. and ill also go back to my other retail displays and add the purchasing option

alot easier to update, well actually wouldnt need updating at all! cause you would just need to get/make the items one time and place them on the table. so you would be using ea objects, not my retail therapy stuff. although, you would still need some retail therapy items in some cases. like the rock climbing/scuba gear because those arent actual "objects" they are just things that live in your inventory. does that make sense?

hmm what clothes? my clothes? cause unfortunatly for clothes i would need to make an actual object to use to purchase (like most of the items from the retail therapy set). jsut because they dont have a physical representation in game. r u trying to buy any clothes or locked clothes?

this sounds so amazing. i love the idea of attaching it to the omsp+ thats genius..my only concern is that it is fine for the retail aspect of the game, but i use a lot of the retail therapy objects in my sims homes because i love just instantly getting objects like fruit, flowers , spices and vegetables, etc. lol such a cheater and i enjoyed having those realistic objects like medicine bottle, bag of potatoes, cake box, etc. to add to my sims homes as clutter and then being able to utilize them because their functional, but i may be the only one who plays with this set this way, however i just thought it might be worth mentioning ..thanks for all your hard work!!

The vertical slide is cool, and as a mac user it's especially cool, but it's not really a huge deal to me. I think I'd rather just have some shelf-y objects that disappear when clicked. 1x1, 1x2. I rarely use OSMP type stuff for cluttering things. I just think you're right about that being the most compatible way to use it with any surface. Hope that makes sense! The way you have your table set up going right now is exactly the object I want for making stores. It makes a lot more sense to me than the current retail therapy set up with the individual items and it has to be easier to update when there's only the one object, right?

Does this work on retail lots only? I use Little Ms Sam's Live in Store mod and would love to use this with it but I'm not sure if this is compatible or my Sims would explode lol

As always amazing work. I have a question ---I am creating a specialty clothing boutique and this is perfect when customers can actually buy. Some of the clothes will be in a rack (for hanging clothes with hangers) how can I utilize the OMSP +Retail for hang clothes on a rack I know it must be a table, but can you maybe add this feature--if possible only. I hope I am making sense. Thank you.

I think the option to toggle purchase on and off would be great. Just for those who would use it in a home. I love the ideas you have all great! Can't wait to see a finished project. Thanks for all you do.

I would also love to use all these features. I absolutely love how you managed to make these items endlessly purchasable because I would love to be able to add stuff like this to a restaurant or other type of lots to make them even more interesting! Very excited for these to be complete. Great job!
